On the 4th of July, 2026, our nation will commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and Tampa is going all in on celebrating Independence Day with a boat parade, live music, pool parties, community events, spectacular fireworks display, drone displays and more.

Celebrate Independence Day with an unforgettable day of family fun at Dade City Farms! Enjoy more than a dozen activities and attractions, meet our friendly farm animals and exotic animals, take a ride on the hay wagon, and cool off on giant inflatable waterslides. The City of Tampa is celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with one of the largest Fourth of July events in Tampa Bay — Liberty by the Bay at Julian B. Lane Park. This free, family-friendly waterfront celebration will feature a 250-drone light show honoring America’s 250th birthday, followed by a fireworks finale, along with an afternoon and evening full of activities, live entertainment, food, and fun for all ages.

Riverwalk at Tampa Convention Center
Celebrate July 4th with Friends of the Tampa Riverwalk as we host the July 4th Boat Parade, Water Ski Show, Blessing of the Fleet, and fireworks along the Tampa Riverwalk! In partnership with the City of Tampa’s Liberty by the Bay celebration, this patriotic event brings thousands of spectators together to celebrate America’s birthday on the water. This year’s theme honors America 250 as we celebrate 250 years of our nation’s history, freedom, and spirit. Decorated boats will cruise along the parade route in a festive display of red, white, and blue while competing for patriotic prizes and trophies. Boats will be judged from Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park as spectators line the Riverwalk to watch the celebration sail by.

Celebrate the 4th of July on the waterfront with an unforgettable night of fireworks, music, great drinks, and all-American party vibes! Join American Social for a high-energy Independence Day celebration featuring prime waterfront views of Tampa’s fireworks display, live entertainment, festive cocktails, and an electric atmosphere built for a night to remember. The day kicks off with a Muscle Car Show from 10 - 12 pm before the main event begins at 5 pm along the Tampa Riverwalk. Guests can enjoy live entertainment from DJ Deacon, Tampa Funk Machine, and the Logan Grant Band, plus a Hot Dog Eating Contest at 7 pm and the exciting Boat Show Parade Turnaround at 8 pm.
