Residents and visitors are invited to Lake Eva Park for Polk County's premier fireworks display.

Celebrate Independence Day in Haines City during the free Thunder on the Ridge celebrations on Friday, July 4, 2025.

With the title of Polk County’s biggest fireworks display, Thunder on the Ridge is Haines City’s signature July 4th celebration. Since 1998, residents and people across Central Florida have joined Haines City to celebrate this memorable event.

Haines City strives to make this a memorable event for the entire family. They will have plenty of cold beer, food, live entertainment, children’s activities, and much more.

The event takes place at Lake Eva Park which has a lot of green space and multiple play areas for kids. While the park as a lot of picnic pavilions throughout, we would suggest that you bring chairs and blankets.

Activities throughout the day includes live entertainment, food trucks, splash zone, yard games, and a beer garden.

Entertainment Schedule

5:00 - 6:00 PM: B. Haven

6:15 - 7:15 PM: Blake Free Band

7:30 - 8:55 PM: Backbeat Band presented by Backbeat Entertainment

9:15 PM: Fireworks
