Enjoy a day of fun while protecting our environment, creating clean energy, and reducing our carbon footprint.

Celebrate Earth Day 2025 at Casselberry’s Earth Fest Celebrations

The 15th annual Earth Fest – the county’s largest environmentally friendly festival – is on Saturday, April 26, 10 am to 3 pm at Lake Concord Park in Casselberry.

The day begins with EarthFest featuring free tree and plant giveaways, butterfly releases and gardening workshops hosted by the City of Casselberry and Casselberry’s Friends of the Park.

The mission of the day is to bring awareness about protecting our environment, creating clean energy and reducing our carbon footprint. As part of this important mission, numerous fun activities will expand your mind through eco-friendly sights and sounds.

The areas that will educate, encourage and empower citizens to create a sustainable community include the Green Vendor Area, Entertainment Area, Food area and a Kids Zone.

The event also celebrates Arbor Day, which is the last Friday in April each year. The Arbor Day Foundation has planted more than 350 million trees in neighborhoods, communities, cities and forests throughout the world.

Besides more than 75 product vendors, the Casselberry Art House will host its Recycled Art Show, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Casselberry, and there will be artists throughout the park showing off their work.

The Recycled Art Exhibition Reception is also back again for 2025 at the Casselberry Art House. Let your curiosity run wild at this exciting display of recycled and repurposed materials turned into unique pieces of art work.

Each year the City hosts this exhibit which includes a wide variety of artists of all different ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. See if you recognize the materials incorporated into the works of art on display. In past years artists have included all sorts of things like bottle caps, car parts, fan blades, discarded wood, old clothes, and scrap papers to name just a few of the materials used.

You will be amazed at the ingenuity and the craftsmanship that goes into the work from these artists. The exhibit will be on display Monday - Friday from 9 - 4 pm from April 7 - 30.

Plus, on April 26, meet the artists as part of Casselberry's Earth Fest celebrations from 10 am - 3 pm.

Admission to Earth Fest 2025 is free, and the event is open to the public. For more information, contact Event Chair Anthony Aramendia at 407-695-6069 or casselberryparks@gmail.com or visit the website at https://www.casselberry.org/638/Earth-Fest.
