Come to downtown Winter Garden on July 4th to be a part of a grand 21-year-old tradition that brings the community together to celebrate America’s birthday.

Downtown Winter Garden’s July 4th festivities are nothing short of spectacular, offering a variety of activities for all ages. Whether you’re a resident or a visitor, the vibrant atmosphere and array of events make it a perfect place to celebrate America’s Independence Day.

Downtown Winter Garden is adorned in Red, White, and Blue through Independence Day Weekend! The patriotic decorations throughout downtown pay tribute to America’s holidays while adding nostalgia to the small-town charm of historic downtown. Enjoy the décor while you shop, dine, and stroll over the holiday weekend. Also, a great backdrop for capturing holiday memories in photos!


This year's celebrations will take place over two days, with the Winter Garden Masonic Lodge 21st Annual All American Kids Parade and Breakfast, plus the Party in the Park, including a spectacular fireworks display happening on Friday, July 4th.


Then on Saturday, July 5th, continue the celebrations at the Winter Garden Farmers Market Independence Day Celebration.

Friday, July 4


WINTER GARDEN MASONIC LODGE 21st ANNUAL ALL AMERICAN KIDS PARADE & BREAKFAST

PANCAKE BREAKFAST:

Before the Parade, bring the family to a Pancake Breakfast from 8 am - 10 am at the Winter Garden Masonic Lodge. Kids 12 & under eat free, while supplies last. There will also be fun children’s activities and complimentary patriotic decorations (courtesy of Winter Garden Heritage Foundation) for your bike, scooter, wagon, stroller, and even your walking shoes to march in the parade!

KIDS PARADE:

Kids, wear your red, white, and blue and parade through historic downtown. (All ages are welcome to participate!) The Parade kicks off at 10 am at City Hall (line up at 9:45 am) and loops around downtown’s West Plant Street. Parade procession is typically 30 minutes long. Spectators are encouraged to line the street to get a good viewing spot to cheer on the parade participants.


Bring your own chair to watch in comfort. Whether you are a participant or a spectator, wave to family and friends as the patriotic parade strolls by.

PARTY IN THE PARK:

Party in the Park takes place at Newton Park, 29 W. Garden Avenue, Winter Garden. This is a free event presented by the City of Winter Garden. The festivities begin at 6 pm with Live Music performed by special guest band, Relic, as well as Family-Friendly Games, Crafts, Vendors, and more! The fireworks start at 9:15 pm.


Bring a chair or blanket and pack a picnic.


PARKING:

Parking is available at several locations on North Dillard Street.


ROAD CLOSURES:

Friday, July 4, 2:00 am –12:00 pm West Plant Street from Dillard Street to Park Avenue, as well as adjoining side streets, will be CLOSED for the All-American Kids Parade. THE ROAD CLOSURES are in effect from FRIDAY, JULY 4, AT 2 AM – APPROX. 12 PM.


Saturday, July 5


WINTER GARDEN FARMERS MARKET INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION:

Fourth of July weekend continues with good old-fashioned fun at the Farmers Market including $1 Hot Dogs, holiday kids’ craft station, and more!
