As we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of America, locals and visitors to the Space Coast can enjoy performances by the Brevard Symphony Orchestra, a traditional 4th of July Parade and Mel-BOOM in Historic Downtown Melbourne, fireworks displays throughout the county, and more.


Best of all, the 4th of July falls on a Saturday this year, and with celebrations planned throughout the holiday weekend, Independence Day 2026 is the perfect time for a road trip to the beach or a well earned staycation!

Florida’s Space Coast launched itself into the history of the United States at the dawn of the Space Race. It’s from the sprawling shores of the Space Coast that Americans discovered how far humans could go and tested the limits of technology.


To celebrate the United States of America’s 250th anniversary, the Space Coast has launched an exciting interactive trail designed to illuminate the Space Coast’s place in American History. Earn your exclusive America250 patch by exploring the incredible museums, memorials, and historic spaces on the Space Coast. Getting started is as easy!


Enroll in a mobile-only passport, visit 5 of the participating locations, then return your completed pass to the Space Coast Visitor Information Center located at 267 W Cocoa Beach Causeway, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 to claim your mission patch! Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Space Commerce Way, Merritt Island

Celebrate Independence Day weekend at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex with a party filled with music, games, and space-themed fun for all ages. Dance along with a live DJ in NASA Central daily from 1 - 4 pm, then head to the lower level of Atlantis for hula hoop contests and additional interactive activities.


America's 250 Celebration & Drone Show

Join Downtown Cocoa Beach as the City of Cocoa Beach kicks off America’s 250th anniversary with a night of family fun, music, and an unforgettable drone show! Enjoy Carnival Midway Games, Live Music by Tidal Theory, Photo Booth, and a Kid Zone with activities and games for the little ones At 9 pmn look up as the night sky lights up with a spectacular drone show celebrating America 250! Celebrate a once-in-a-generation milestone at the America 250 Semiquincentennial Parade — Honoring Our Past, Celebrating Our Future! Join the fun on July 4th, 2026, from 9 - 11 am for a vibrant patriotic parade beginning at Titusville High School and traveling along US-1 to Main Street. Enjoy a morning filled with lively entertainment, delicious food, family-friendly activities, and convenient seating at City Hall. Bring your friends, family, and community spirit as we come together to commemorate 250 years of American history in true red, white, and blue style! Then, from 6 - 9.30 pm at Sand Point Park for everybody’s favorite fireworks show! This year’s Red, White, and Boom includes food trucks, vendors, a live DJ, entertainment, and a dedicated kids zone. Be sure to get there and save your spot for the spectacular fireworks display at 9:15pm.

This is one event you don’t want to miss! As always, attendance is FREE!

Join Pritchard House Museum for a priority seat to watch Titusville’s 4th of July Parade on Saturday,July 4th at 9am. Seats are available on both the upstairs, and downstairs porches of the historic Pritchard House Museum. Refreshments and hand held flags will be provided. Seats must be reserved in advance. Join your Brevard Symphony Orchestra this July 4th for a FREE annual Symphony Under the Stars concert at Cocoa Riverfront Park. Be sure to bring a chair or blanket as you enjoy a free concert filled with patriotic favorites. The concert starts at 8 pm, with fireworks starting at 9:15 pm. Food trucks and local restaurants will be open and available before the concert. The emcee again this year is Mindy from Mindy & Company on Lite Rock 99.3!


Palm Bay’s Annual Independence Day Celebration

Get ready for Palm Bay’s Annual Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, July 4, from 5 pm to 9 pm, at the Palm Bay Campus of Eastern Florida State College! Enjoy free admission and parking for a night of fun, culminating in a fireworks display around 9:15 pm. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy live performances. Indulge in treats from food trucks, explore various vendors, and let the kids have a blast in the free kids’ zone with inflatables, games, air brush tattoos, and a foam pit.
