Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts is celebrating its 10-Year Anniversary with a special concert featuring the Orlando Jazz Orchestra on Sunday, June 28.

Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts will celebrate a decade of live music, arts education, and nonprofit cultural programming with its Anniversary Concert on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 3 - 5 pm at Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts, 460 E. New England Ave., Winter Park.
The special event will bring together audiences, artists, community supporters, and members of the media for an afternoon of live music featuring the Orlando Jazz Orchestra. The concert celebrates Blue Bamboo’s decade-long commitment to presenting exceptional live music, supporting working musicians, and creating accessible arts experiences for the Central Florida community.
Over the past decade, Blue Bamboo has evolved from a small jazz venue into a regional nonprofit arts hub serving musicians, students, educators, and audiences across Central Florida.
Jeff Flowers, President of Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts, said, “Every ticket purchased and every guest who walks through our doors directly supports live musicians and arts programming in our community. We’re a nonprofit venue, and the best way to support what we do is simply to come out and experience it.”
Following its 2025 relocation into the renovated former Winter Park Public Library building, Blue Bamboo now has expanded capacity to welcome audiences, support artists, and provide space for nonprofit arts organizations throughout the region.
About Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts
Just steps from Park Avenue, Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts has become one of Central Florida’s most distinctive live music venues — pairing nationally recognized artists with an
intimate nonprofit performance space built around community and accessibility.
Founded by musicians, Blue Bamboo has spent the past decade building a reputation for presenting professional artists alongside emerging student performers in an intimate listening-
room environment.
Blue Bamboo offers live performances four nights a week, including free Thursday music nights featuring student/volunteer musicians performing alongside professional artists, evening concerts
featuring nationally and internationally recognized performers, and popular Sunday afternoon
performances.
One-fourth of Blue Bamboo’s programming is offered free to the public, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to accessible arts experiences for the Central Florida community. In addition to its own programming, Blue Bamboo regularly provides rehearsal and performance space for more than 20 local nonprofit arts organizations.
The venue also livestreams select performances on YouTube, expanding access to live music beyond Winter Park and reaching audiences throughout the region.
As arts organizations across the country continue to face financial pressures, Blue Bamboo’s nonprofit model depends on audience participation, community partnerships, and local support to
keep live music thriving in Central Florida.
