The wildest ride in the wilderness is closing for refurbishment in January at Walt Disney World.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will temporarily close for a very short refurbishment at the Magic Kingdom Park, beginning January 16, 2024, with the ride scheduled to reopen for guests on January 21, 2024,

With such a short closure period, the time will be spent on clean up and general maintenance only,
