Great news for fans of the displaced Austin’s Coffee, as Austins 2.0 is gearing up for an end of January opening!

Austin’s Coffee brews up a soft opening date at their new Winter Park location

For over 20 years, Austin’s Coffee in Winter Park was a place to relax during the day, and lounge in the evening, enjoying non-stop nightly entertainment, then the city of Winter Park who were working to ease the major traffic congestion at the busy intersection of Fairbanks Avenue and Denning Drive decided they needed Austin's building to add a turning lane.

A campaign was launched last fall to save and relocate the coffee shop by the nonprofit Friends of Austin’s Coffee, who with the support of new investors helped Austin's new co-owners, Richard Witmer , Angela Whitmer, and Preacher Lawson move the business down the road to a new and bigger location at 2240 W. Fairbanks Ave..

The doors to the new location, being dubbed Austins 2.0 will open at the end of January, with a soft-opening set for Monday, Jan. 26, bright and early at 7 am, with a grand re-opening on Jan. 30 at 7 pm with a yet to be confirmed large lineup of bands.

Fans of Austin's will be pleased to hear that the new Austin's 2.0 will offer the same 24-7 opening times, along with the return of what the original Austin's did best, themed open mic nights every night of the week! Plus, many old favorites from the menu will be returning, together with newly added items.
