Art Pollination: Building Food Justice through Creativity, a powerful initiative led by the City of Orlando .

Join more than 20 Central Florida artists as they celebrate the opening of the "Art Pollination: Building Food Justice through Creativity" art exhibition at City Arts in Downtown Orlando.
Currently, 1 in 7 people in Central Florida are food insecure, which means they don't have reliable access to healthy food. This includes more than 500,000 people who don't know where their next meal will come from. In support of efforts to fight hunger across our region, the City of Orlando created Art Pollination, a unique initiative that leverages the power of art and creativity to raise awareness of (and promote approaches to address) the shared challenges of food insecurity and hunger in our community.
Supported by a $1 million Bloomberg Philanthropies Public Art Challenge grant, Art Pollination serves as a venue for local artists to create work in and around this important issue. Beginning on Thursday, November 20, guests to City Arts can see and experience a range of artistic works by these local artists.
The exhibition runs from November 20, 2025 - December 14, 2025.
The opening event will feature Honey Ice Cream from Smiles Ice Cream made in partnership with Black Bee Honey.
