ALL-NEW kids play area, Turi’s Kid Cove splashes into Aquatica Orlando this week!

Grab your best buddies and get ready to splish, splash, spray, and play in this ALL-NEW water adventure attraction filled with watering palms, tipping buckets, spraying jets, water bobbles, and more

Aquatica Orlando have revealed that the ALL-NEW Turi’s Kid Cove is set to open on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

Grab your best buddies and get ready to splish, splash, spray, and play in this ALL-NEW water adventure attraction filled with watering palms, tipping buckets, spraying jets, water bobbles, and more. Plus, your kids can grab a tube and glide into fun on the ALL-NEW Tamariki Twirl, a kid-sized wave slide designed just for them!

Fun Fact: The ALL-NEW Tamariki Twirl is a smaller version of the water parks big kids slide, KareKare Curl!

As Aquatica Orlando celebrates its 15th Anniversary, The brand new kids area is replacing the former Kata’s Kookaburra Cove.

Turi’s Kid Cove will be tucked away between Big Surf Shores and Mango Market. With plenty of splashy water fun and ample seating all around for rest and relaxation, it’s the perfect place for you and your little ones to cool off.

Park president of Aquatica, Brad Gilmour commented “When we open this area, you’re going to experience 12 slides, that's highlighted with Tamariki Twirl. It’s a smaller version of one of our more thrilling slides in the park. Really, what we’re trying to accomplish is to allow our younger guests to get that same thrilling experience that our more seasoned sliders get to experience.”

Other new attraction in the ALL-NEW Turi’s Kid Cove includes the slides, Zippity Zappity, Slider Rider, Racer Chaser, and Slippity Dippity.
