Floral Odyssey, a large-scale mural by artists Peterson Guerrier and Chris Jones, is in progress at 1 S Orange Ave.

Downtown Orlando is about to gain a new mural, one that invites dreamers of all ages to rekindle their curiosity and reflect on their ambitions. Floral Odyssey, a large-scale work by acclaimed artists Peterson Guerrier and Chris Jones, will soon transform the façade of 1 South Orange Avenue, home to Launch That’s headquarters.
This project, a collaboration between Launch That, the Community Redevelopment Agency, City District, and Red Tape Orlando, reflects the vision outlined in the DTO Action Plan—leveraging art and culture to enrich downtown’s identity, strengthen community ties, and create memorable experiences for all who visit.
Public art plays a crucial role in shaping the character of a city, and Floral Odyssey is a testament to the power of creativity in strengthening downtown Orlando’s cultural fabric. The DTO Action Plan emphasizes how artistic expression enhances public spaces, connects people, and fosters a sense of place. This mural not only supports local artists but also creates a striking visual statement that will engage residents, visitors, and passersby. Positioned at a key intersection, it will naturally draw attention, encouraging people to slow down, take it in, and perhaps spark conversations about their own aspirations.
Slated to be completed by April 2025, Floral Odyssey will soon take its place as a defining piece of downtown Orlando’s ever-growing public art scene. As the project unfolds, we invite you to follow its progress and, when you see it in person, take a moment to reflect—what do you want to be?
