Hop into a world of imagination at Orlando Family Stage with Peter Rabbit and his mischievous siblings: Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail! In this playful, hands-on experience, young creators will make their very own puppets, explore Mr. McGregor’s Garden through creative drama, and then settle in to enjoy a joy-filled puppet show starring their favorite floppy-eared friends.

Theatre South Playhouse presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. An eclectic group of pre-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Only one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box.

Local events will be held throughout Black History Month at local libraries. Theatre for the Very Young continues with Yo, Ho, Ho! Let’s Go!, written by Jennifer Adams-Carrasquillo, a 30-minute adventure with a pirate on the high seas following a treasure map! Parrots, crabs, mermaids, and more join the fun! Theatre for the Very Young at Orlando Family Stage is created specifically for 1 to 5-year-olds and is an interactive, multi-sensory, developmentally accessible experience that encourages caregiver interaction and creative play.

Tiara's Hat Parade at Orlando Family Stage is a beautiful story about self-expression, resilience, and the power of family as it celebrates Black culture and creativity. Tiara’s Hat Parade is a family-friendly production based on the beloved picture book by prolific children’s author Kelly Starling Lyons. It tells the tale of young Tiara, who uses kindness, creativity, artistry and community to help her mother to revive her hat-making business.

Southeastern Regional Premiere! This critically acclaimed Off-Broadway musical is a rags-to-riches tale of three young men just off the bus from their hit-record producing hometowns — Philly, Memphis, and Detroit — as they meet at the world famous Apollo Theatre. The musical is a tantalizing homage to the 3-man R&B groups of the 60s and 70s and features twenty-four Rhythm and Blues classic soul songs made popular by artists such as James Brown, Otis Redding, Jackie Wilson and more!

The Amazing Acro-Cats, featured in the Netflix series Cat People, are heading to our stage! This troupe of trained house cats, all former orphans, rescues and strays, give a one-of-a-kind, 90 minute “purrformance” that includes cats riding skateboards, jumping through hoops, ringing bells, balancing on balls and performing other feats of agility and acrobatics. The show finale is the only all-cat band in the world: Tuna and the Rock Cats. The Rock Cats play guitar, drums and piano and they've been joined by the Jazz Cats on saxophone, trumpet and clarinet.

Come celebrate the Centennial Anniversary of Orlando Firehouse 3, “The Knights of College Park”, at the original Station 3 which is now the Randall R. Tuten Orlando Fire Museum located in Loch Haven Park. Firehouse 3 has been a mainstay of the College Park community where it’s proudly since 1926. We’ll have several family-friendly activities including museum tours, bounce houses, firefighter meet-and-greets, fire truck tours, food and drinks. The event is free to attend.

This is a FREE event (no tickets or reservations required). Family activities include a dance floor, rock wall, mechanical bull, bell ringer, bungee, pony rides and petting zoo.
