In honor of Orlando’s 150th anniversary, the Orange County Regional History Center offers a glimpse into some of the most fascinating and rarely seen items from the city’s history with our newest special exhibition, Orlando Collected.

Twinkling lights, themed trees, and timeless holiday charm — “A Dickens Christmas: The Urban Family’s Holiday Exhibition” is back at the Appleton Museum of Art, Ocala. Visitors can enjoy beautifully decorated themed trees, the ever-popular Dickens Village miniature, an extensive nutcracker collection, handmade Santas from around the world, and much more.

Celebrate the magic of the holiday season at Orlando Science Center with a dino twist. Gaze upon Stan the T. rex and his fossil friends in a festive light show set to holiday music. Don't forget the wintery surprise at the end!

Downtown Kissimmee shines bright this holiday season during the Festival of Lights, a free celebration transforming the heart of the city into a glowing holiday destination. Thousands of twinkling white lights stretch across Broadway, side streets, and Kissimmee Lakefront Park, creating a magical atmosphere for families, couples, and visitors to enjoy nightly.


June 6 - January 6

Dawoud Bey’s Evergreen depicts haunting images captured at the Evergreen Plantation of Wallace, Louisiana. Installed across three video channels, the work scans the grounds of the most intact plantation complex still standing in the United States. The work captures swaths of trees and the remnants of living quarters of the historically enslaved Black people.

Experience the enchantment of the holiday stroll. Spread cheer by shopping locally at the Merry Market. Embrace the magic of the season at the Eola Wonderland. The exhibition includes 100 watercolors by FWS members selected by a distinguished juror, award-winning watercolor artist, Matthew Bird, whose work has been featured in major art magazines.

Dr Phillips Center is turning its frontyard, Seneff Arts Plaza into an enchanting winter wonderland full of free festive fun all month long, including live entertainment, holiday movies on the big screen, visits with Santa, eats and treats, holiday crafts, nightly tree lighting ceremony and snow flurries, plus so much more!

Downtown Winter Garden transforms into a magical Holiday Wonderland as the sights and sounds of the season complement its historic small town-charm. On select dates enjoy holiday events, live music, projection light shows, street performers, and more that add to the festive Normal Rockwell-like ambiance.


December 8 – January 1

The City of Altamonte Springs and Duke Energy celebrate the tradition of lighting up Cranes Roost Park with live music, entertainment, fireworks, train rides, along with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Watch as the park comes alive with spectacular holiday displays featuring 200,000 lights and a 60-foot tree decorated with thousands of ornaments and garland.


November 29 - December 31

Now Snowing, Central Florida’s original and premier “Snowing” event, offers one of the area’s only synthetic ice rinks, special community performances by some of the area’s top young talent, and special concert events throughout the season. Now Snowing in Celebration is a month-long Winter Wonderland Spectacular featuring strolling Charles Dickens style Carolers, photos with Santa, horse drawn carriage rides, train rides, ice skating, and nightly snowfall.


November 27 - December 28

Enjoy an expanded holiday light spectacular at Hillsburgh County Fairgrounds that will envelop you and your family in an enchanting environment blanketed in more than a million lights from entrance to exit. Young and young at heart will enjoy the nearly 2 mile drive-thru immersive experience of continuous light features followed by a festive walking visit to Santa’s Village, full of attractions, holiday goodies and visits with Santa!

Join the Promenade at Sunset Walk for our annual Holinights Celebration, featuring Santa Claus and his Mischievous Elves, towering toy soldiers, and the nightly lighting of the 40-foot animated Holinights Christmas tree at 6:30 pm.

Wekiva Island’s long-awaited Winter Wonderland is back again, and we’re excited to celebrate the festive season all December long. In addition to our well-loved activities like daily “snow” flurries, the Christmas tree forest and our 30-ft tall tree, and visits from your favorite Christmas characters, and Santa is inviting all the good boys and girls to his Workshop, right here at Wekiva Island!

Drop off toys at Wekiva Island anytime between Nov 28–Dec 14. All donations go directly to local children in need.

Coke Florida is thrilled to bring its annual Holiday Caravan to Clermont for an evening at Southern Hill Farms on December 3, 2025 from 6 pm to 8:30 pm. This joyous community holiday experience features the classic holiday-themed Coca-Cola truck on display, beverage sampling, and a special photo zone where families can receive a free photo printed photo with Santa.

Jazz on Church Street is a after work cultural experience that brings together the best of Orlando's local jazz scene, visual arts and Parramore-inspired cuisine. This event will showcase talented local jazz musicians, art vendors and culinary delights deeply rooted in the Parramore community.

Each year, the Morse Museum helps launch the holiday season in Winter Park when it lights up Tiffany windows in Central Park and presents the Bach Festival Choir and Brass Ensemble in concert. This December is the 47th annual celebration of Christmas in the Park. Christmas in the Park was started by Hugh and Jeannette McKean, the Morse Museum’s benefactors, in 1979 as a way to share a part of their rare Tiffany collection with the public in an informal setting. Today, the Morse and the City of Winter Park co-sponsor the event.

The City of Oviedo's annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration will be on December 4, 2025, at Center Lake Park. The event is free and includes festive activities like photos with Santa, live music, food trucks, and other entertainment.

Mark your calendar for the last Kaleidoscope 360 of 2025, featuring a holiday classic on the outdoor screen at Luminary Green Park in Downtown Orlando.

Make a difference for the children and young adults in Osceola County this holiday season. Consider donating a new, unwrapped toy during our Friday and Saturday Night Car Show and Cruise on December 5th & 6th. Santa and our Christmas helpers will be on location to accept your donations. Toys collected benefit the Osceola Council on Aging, so it stays local. Santa will be stopping by and will be available for photos with a $10 donation.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer invites Central Florida residents and visitors to ring in the holiday season and help countdown to the lighting of the City of Orlando’s Christmas tree at Lake Eola Park’s Washington Plaza. The event will include holiday performances at the Lake Eola Amphitheater, food trucks and the return of the Merry Market. Enjoy snowfall in Florida, shop local from over 30 vendors and be sure to stop by for a visit with Santa!

Enjoy Lunch & Learn at Orange County Regional History Center. A classic Florida attraction known the world over, Cypress Gardens delighted guests for decades. Join us as we trace the history of this Winter Haven treasure, remembered as the “Water Ski Capital of the World.” You will hear about the development and opening of the park, the property’s expansive botanical gardens, and the shows and rides that made it such a fun place to visit for generations of tourists and locals alike.

Join a guided tour from The Association to Preserve the Eatonville Community to learn more about Zora Neale Hurston, the Eatonville community, or discover modern highlights Hurston’s portrayal of the town is a celebration of Black culture, language and traditions, and from the Zora Neale Hurston National Museum of Fine Arts. A very special Maitland Getdown Downtown street party from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday Dec. 5, on Independence Lane will feature live music from Jimmy Buffett tribute group The Landsharks Band, food trucks and vendors, a kids fun zone and a mechanical surfboard simulator.

The City of Lake Mary’s “Holiday in the Park” event is one for the books! Lake Mary's largest event of the year highlights over 1 MILLION holiday lights in Central Park, a visit from Santa Claus, a synthetic ice rink (admission fee), and lots of food trucks!! Come out and enjoy the 34th Annual Lighted Boat Christmas Parade on Lake Dora. The parade begins at the lighthouse on Grantham Pointe (Tremain St & Liberty Ave) and can be seen in various locations on the lake. Local boat owners compete for best in light show display and originality.

The Orlando Half Marathon was established in 1977 by the City of Orlando Recreation Department titled the 'Tangerine Bowl Half Marathon'. The City of Orlando, Florida Citrus Sports Association, and Track Shack Events jointly produced the half marathon for many years.Track Shack Events took ownership of the event in 2012. Orlando-based Track Shack and its sister company Track Shack Events are co-owned by Jon and Betsy Hughes.The Half Marathon and 5k routes wind through scenic streets, finishing at beautiful Lake Eola Park. Approximately 4,000 runners/walkers enjoy this cherished Orlando tradition, complete with live music along the course, local beer, and a lakeside party.
