Explore the history and enduring legacy of colonialism in the Caribbean through The House That Freedoms Built, an outdoor installation by artist La Vaughn Belle on the Rollins College campus. Featuring three white, pitched-roof structures inspired by 18th-century homes built by formerly enslaved people of St. Croix, the work invites reflection on how ideas of home, belonging, and freedom are constructed.

What fall adventure would be complete without a day of fall fun on the farm with carnival rides, a corn maze, u-pick flowers, a petting zoo, live music, pumpkins, food trucks, seasonal treats, photo opportunities and more.

Fall into fun at Great Scott Farms, located at 26216 County Rd 448A, Mt Dora. Get lost in the Corn Maze, challenge gravity on the Jumping Pillow, and feel the rush on the Super Slide! But the excitement doesn't stop there – bring out the little knights and princesses to conquer the Castle Playground or hop aboard the charming Hay Rides. Presented by Casselberry Arts, the annual Experience Contemporary 2026 exhibition, A Wrench in the Gears, features five Florida artists: Justin Quaid Grubb, Cynthia Mason, Noelle Mason, Hilary White, and Matthew Wicks. Their work will be on display at the Casselberry Arts Center.

The Ren's annual spooky season production is back for 2026, with Nosferatu: The Citadel! You'll see the full Nosferatu experience at 8 pm, and end the night in VBar beginning at 10 pm. Harvest Moon Fun Farm is located at 15990 Stur St, Masaryktown, and featurs a pumpkin patch, 5 acre cron maze, and so much more. The kids will love rides on the cow train, bouncing on the bouncing pillow, visiting athe animals in the petting zoo, including rabbits, pigs, goats, chickens, miniature horses and Scarlett the Llama! The fun continues with gem mining, pedal cars, a 20 foot hill slide, tree house, ball zone and much more!

Pumpkins at Santa’s Tree Farm located at 5317 Huff Road, Eustis are fresh picked, and then displayed in a shaded lot to help preserve their freshness. There is so much to enjoy here including barnyard animals, horse and pony rides, hay rides, bounce pillow, giant slide, barrel train rides, mazes and play areas.

When the sun goes down at Showcase of Citrus in Clermont, the Monster Trucks take a much darker turn. The Haunted Monster Truck Ride is returning for the 2026 Halloween season, taking brave riders on an after-dark adventure through a world of monsters, creatures, scares, and Halloween surprises. Climb aboard one of the massive Monster Trucks and venture into the darkness as the familiar Florida countryside transforms into something altogether different.

Join Lake Catherine Blueberries at the farm for their fall festivities. The farm, located at 5849 Lake Catherine Rd, Groveland will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Parking and admission to the farm is complimentary. Enjoy live music every weekend, delicious food and drink, cozy fire pits with s'mores packages, free photo opportunities with vintage tractors, children's playground, and more. Get ready to stomp, sway, and roar at Dinosaur Dance Party, a joyful 30-minute celebration of dinosaurs, music, movement, and imaginative play. Little ones and their grown-ups will sing, dance, clap, and explore together in a playful adventure inspired by everyone’s favorite prehistoric friends. After all, everyone knows dinosaurs love to dance!

Step into a world of enchantment with Fairy Doors, a delightful exhibit featuring twenty one-of-a-kind, magical doors tucked away throughout the gardens. Each fairy door is crafted by a different fairy and invites young dreamers (and the young at heart) into a realm of secret gardens, whispering woods, and sparkling imagination. A special map will guide your journey, complete with charming tales of the fairies who created each door, adding a touch of storybook magic to your adventure.

Sanford Beer Week is back with eight days of craft beer, special events, and downtown fun!
From Monday through Thursday, participating bars and breweries throughout Historic Downtown Sanford will host their own unique events. Explore a different destination each night and enjoy special releases, tap takeovers, tastings, themed activities, and more.
Then, the celebration gets even bigger over Labor Day Weekend with the Main Street Pour Tour!

In addition to the shopping experience, visitors are encouraged to stay for KaleidoScope 360°, produced by Global Peace 360°, an outdoor movie series hosted the same evening. This month's movie is Disney's Encanto.

25 years later, we climb in their honor. Join the Lake Nona community on Friday, September 11 for the 9/11 Stair Climb, a tribute to the firefighters and first responders who answered the call. Whether you’re climbing for the first time or returning again this year, every step matters. In recognition of the 25th anniversary, participants will climb 110 flights of stairs through 22 laps of the parking garage route, totaling approximately 3.2 miles, to honor their bravery, sacrifice and legacy.
