Veterans Day is a day to recognize the bravery, sacrifice, and patriotism of veterans and serves as an opportunity for the nation to express gratitude for their service and dedication.
November marks National Veteran and Military Families Month, highlighted by Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
Veterans Day is a time to say thank you to our veteran’s and service members, and to appreciate their sacrifices for our country.
Many cities and communities organize parades and ceremonies to honor veterans, and here in Central Florida there is many events to support, celebrate and recognize our veterans on Veterans Day. Plus, various attractions are offering free admission to veterans, together with special offers, and discounts from many area businesses.
2025 Veterans Day Events In Central Florida
November 6 - 18
In honor of Veterans Day, veterans and active military can enjoy complimentary admission* to Orlando Science Center and 50% off for their family, thanks to Lockheed Martin.

Join SeaWorld Orlando for a heartfelt tribute to our brave veterans this November! From November 7 - 11, the park is hosting a special Veterans Appreciation Celebration to honor the dedication and sacrifice of our servicemen and women.

The Orange County Regional History Center invites veterans and up to two guests to visit the museum for free on Friday, November 7 – Tuesday, November 11 in honor of Veterans Day.

This event will be held in honor of all veterans. All veterans that have served in any military campaign or branch in honor of our nation’s freedom are invited to attend for our community to pay tribute to their dedicated service to our country.

Mount Dora Christian Academy welcomes veterans and their family and friends to our free annual Veterans Day Parade and Program on Friday, November 7. To participate in the parade, please arrive by 9 AM. The parade will begin at our administration building's clock tower and will proceed to the gym. A special recognition ceremony and message will follow. All are welcome to be celebrated by the students of MDCA!

The 26th annual City of Orlando Veterans Day Parade is moving to Lake Nona! Presented by Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Mayor’s Veterans Advisory Council, and hosted by Lake Nona and the City of Orlando - Government, this special event honors the courage and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes.

Join the City of Kisssimmee on November 8 at in Historic Downtown Kissimmee for the annual Veterans Day Parade, hosted by the Osceola Veterans Council. This cherished community tradition honors the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The parade will travel through the heart of Downtown Kissimmee, featuring military units, walking groups, community organizations, and local schools coming together to salute our veterans.

Join the City of Kissimmee for Dinner with a Veteran, a patriotic evening honoring those who have served our country. Residents are invited to bring a veteran to this special event and enjoy a night of connection, appreciation, and community. The evening will feature a free dinner and opportunities to meet and network with veterans who have proudly served both past and present.

On Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at 11 am Downtown Leesburg will come alive with patriotic spirit, heartfelt gratitude, and community pride. This is a day to celebrate the courageous men and women who have served our country with honor and distinction. Enjoy a vibrant procession featuring marching bands, decorated floats, veteran organizations, and much more.

The Eustis 2025 Salute to Veterans will be on Saturday, Nov. 8 in Ferran Park and Downtown Eustis. The Phantom Airborne Brigade paratroopers, will be conducting a Veteran's Day Tribute Jump into Lake Eustis to honor our veterans and active duty service members. The purpose of the Veteran's Day Tribute Jump is to conduct a military training jump, as well as to serve as a recreation and rehabilitation tool for our Veterans and Active-Duty service members. The jump will start at 8 am and will be followed by the annual Salute to Veterans Parade. The annual parade will be at 2 pm. Saturday, and will head down Eustis Street from Gottsche Ave. to Woodward Ave., and the Ceremony of Honor on the bandshell stage immediately following at 3 pm..

The Veteran's Day Parade begins at 9 am along Montrose St. through Downtown Clermont and concludes at Waterfront Park. Following the Parade, their will be a tribute honoring the men and women who have served our nation featuring guest speakers and local military organizations. Plus, everyone can enjoy food trucks, car show, kidz zone, live music, and more.

The Veterans Club of Celebration warmly invites you to join them in honoring those who have served our great nation by participating in the Veterans Day Parade on November 8, 2025 located at the Celebration Lakeside Pavillion Park Entrance at 10:30 am and the Veterans Day Ceremony located at Founders Park at 11 am.

Enjoy beautiful Lake Concord Park and the City of Casselberry at the competitive (or non-competitive) pace of your choice on November 9, 2025! Participants will gather at Lake Concord Park and the 3.1 mile course will take runners, walkers and strollers on a beautiful route throughout the Casselberry community!

The streets of the Promenade will be filled with classic to modern cars and trucks from all eras, makes, and models. Hosted by DJ Jennifer playing the perfect complement of everything from classic rock ’n’ roll through today’s current hits.

Be a part of the live studio audience for this family-friendly musical stage show featuring songs from some of America’s most beloved artists.

Join Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts this Veterans’ Day for a powerful afternoon of music and tribute as a dynamic jazz group made up entirely of former military musicians, takes the stage. From big band swing to soulful ballads, their performance honors the rhythm of service and the spirit of freedom through the universal language of jazz.

The Orlando Concert Band is a 75-member, select wind ensemble. Join the City of Clermont on November 9 to honor our veterans with this incredible live orchestra at Clermont Performing Arts Center.

The City of Oviedo, along with the American Legion Oviedo Memorial Post 243 will have a Veterans’ Day Observance on Monday, November 11, 2025. At the event, Commander Larry Kayne will give a speech about Veterans’ Day before reading the names that will be unveiled on the wall. Hagerty High School JROTC Honor Guard will provide the colors, and the Oviedo High School Brass Ensemble will perform the National Anthem.
