2 Central Florida Theme Parks have been named among the 10 Best Theme Parks in the U.S.

USA Today 10Best has named its Top 10 Best Theme Parks for 2024, and 2 Central Florida Theme Parks are on the list.

USA Today 10Best has revealed its Top 10 Best Theme Parks for 2024, with surprisingly only two Central Florida theme parks making the top 10.

Nominees were submitted by a panel of experts with 10Best editors narrowing the field to select the final set of nominees for the Readers’ Choice Awards, with the public voting for the top 10 winners.

The first of the two local theme parks in the top 10 is Busch Gardens Tampa Bay which is in 9th place.

While Busch Gardens is most famously known as a theme park filled with thrill rides, the Tampa location is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and offers abundant animal encounters as well.

Between roller coaster rides, visitors can board an open-air touring vehicle on a Serengeti Safari, where it’s possible to spot giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and other African animals living in wide open spaces

The 2nd Central Florida theme park to make the Top 10 Best Theme Parks for 2024 SeaWorld Orlando which has been placed 3rd.

Most famous as a marine zoological park, SeaWorld Orlando has made a name for itself in the world of high-octane thrill rides as well, thanks to Manta — one of the only coasters of its kind in the world — and Mako, a hyper coaster with deep dives, high speeds, and thrills aplenty. Young visitors to the park can now walk down Sesame Street and interact with their favorite furry friends.

No. 8: Kennywood - West Mifflin, Pennsylvania

No. 7: Busch Gardens Williamsburg - Williamsburg, Virginia

No. 6: LEGOLAND California - Carlsbad, California

No. 5: Dollywood - Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

No. 4: Hersheypark - Hershey, Pennsylvania

No. 3: SeaWorld Orlando - Orlando, Florida

No. 2: Knoebels - Elysburg, Pennsylvania

No. 1: Silver Dollar City - Branson, Missouri
