Ongoing Events
April 12 - January 11
In honor of Orlando’s 150th anniversary, the Orange County Regional History Center offers a glimpse into some of the most fascinating and rarely seen items from the city’s history with our newest special exhibition, Orlando Collected.
June 6 - January 6
Dawoud Bey’s Evergreen depicts haunting images captured at the Evergreen Plantation of Wallace, Louisiana. Installed across three video channels, the work scans the grounds of the most intact plantation complex still standing in the United States. The work captures swaths of trees and the remnants of living quarters of the historically enslaved Black people.
September 27 - January 5
Gear up and strap in because math is about to go off the rails at Orlando Science Center! In 2TheXtreme!, the only limit is you, so let’s see how far you can go. In this interactive traveling exhibit, guests will go head-to-head in sports, set the stage for creativity, design the unthinkable, and explore worlds far beyond their own backyard, all while using the power of mathematics!

The exhibition includes 100 watercolors by FWS members selected by a distinguished juror, award-winning watercolor artist, Matthew Bird, whose work has been featured in major art magazines.

Jason Chin (American, born 1978) has written and illustrated award winning children’s books, including Redwoods, Grand Canyon, and Your Place in the Universe. His paintings in Watercress, alongside storytelling by Andrea Wang, garnered a 2022 Caldecott Medal. With a love for scientific wonders, he has illuminated the mysteries of coral reefs, redwood trees, the Galápagos Islands, gravity, and the elemental particles that make us who we are.

Join Southern Hill Farms located at 16651 Schofield Rd, Clermont for their annual Fall Festival. What fall adventure would be complete without farm wagon rides, yard games, live music, u-pick sunflower and zinnia fields, the 5 acre corn maze, pumpkin patch barn, and more! Experience Contemporary (Myth and Storytelling) is a group exhibition of paintings, sculptures, and printed materials, featuring four contemporary Florida artists, curated by Justin Luper. The exhibit is on display at Casselberry Arts Center.

At Harvest Holler located at 950 Tavares Rd., Polk City, experience a real working family farm with animals, activities, corn maze and of course a pumpkin patch. Harvest Holler is a place where you can explore nature, have adventures outside and unplugged. Relax and enjoy the slow-paced farm life: Sit on a hay bale, drink some true southern sweet tea or lemonade and relish the time with your family.

Get lost in our Corn Maze, challenge gravity on the Jumping Pillow (socks required), and feel the rush on our Super Slide! But the excitement doesn't stop there – bring out the little knights and princesses to conquer our Castle Playground or hop aboard our charming Hay Rides. And of course, no visit is complete without a trip to our Pumpkin Patch, where autumn magic comes to life! At Great Scott Farms, we've got something for everyone, so gather your friends and family and let the adventure begin!

The Fall Pumpkin Patch is the perfect spot for family fun and time with friends. With every admission, guests will receive one free pumpkin to take home. Along the way, you can meet and snuggle our friendly farm animals, play in the corn box, climb up on our tractors, and race down the haywagon slides. Little artists will love leaving their mark in the chalk barn, and the always-popular bunny barn is waiting for visits and cuddles. Families can unwind on a tractor-pulled ride through shady trees, spread out under the wide-open skies, and even bring along a picnic to enjoy.
For even more farm fun, you’ll have the choice to feed the four-legged friends and saddle up for a classic pony ride.

Taste of Space: Fall Bites! returns for its fifth year at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. From October 3 to November 9, treat your taste buds to some fun new flavors around the visitor complex.

Orlando’s immersive vampire theatrical experience is back for a thrilling heart-pacing firth year at The Renaissance Theatre! Loosely inspired by Bram Stoker's Dracula and other classic vampire lore, Nosferatu is where the vampires roam. Enter a place where the rules of space and time do not exist; where a Choosing Ceremony decides the newest member of the Coven; and where the Undead roam looking for their next seduction. Enter the Ren near downtown Orlando, then free roam through an unusual series of rooms where bloodthirsty performance artists lure you deeper into the story. VBar is part of Orlando's Adult Vampire Experience, Nosferatu at The Renaissance Theatre, Orlando’s immersive vampire theatrical experience. Free roam through an unusual series of rooms where bloodthirsty performance artists lure you deeper into the story. When the bell tolls, gather with the other mortals for VBar, a swinging afterparty complete with drag performances, dancing and themed beverages. 18+
September 8 - November 3
Embark on a mythical adventure through 50 acres of enchanting botanical gardens. In DRAGONS: Hidden Treasure Quest, each guest becomes a brave “seeker,” equipped with a special map filled with clues and legendary lore. Follow the trail, solve the riddles, and uncover ancient artifacts as you search for the hidden treasure—but tread carefully! The relics left behind tell the story of the dragons who founded this very kingdom. Are you clever enough to unlock the secrets and find the treasure?

Nightmare on Orange, is a Halloween-themed pop-up with decorations, specialty cocktails, and creepiness, and is an annual tradition around these parts, each year taking over The Courtesy, located at 1288 N Orange Ave. in Winter Park.

Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights is the home of horror with the biggest names in the genre. Endure 10 haunted houses, scare zones and more. Find reprieve, if you can, with live entertainment and select rides and attractions. Brave The World’s Premier Halloween Event on select nights from Aug 29–Nov 2. This year's HHN features 10 sinsiter Haunted Houses including The Terrifier, Friday the 13th, and Fallout, plus don't miss this year' scare zones, live entertainment, themed food and more.

SeaWorld’s Spooktacular is back with fun surprises, candy, costumes and more! Kids love trick-or-treating (with purchase of reusable bag) during this daytime event as they explore our decorated trail and meet colorful characters. This year be sure to check out all our immersive family Spooktacular Festivities and plan your visit this fall. SeaWorld Spooktacular runs select days, Aug. 30 – Nov. 2, and is included with park admission.

Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream returns in full force, taking over the entire park with haunted houses, scare zones, sinister shows and more. This years after-hours event features more than 25 terrifying experiences including 2 NEW haunted houses, 3 NEW sinister scare zones, ghoulish shows and unrelenting park-wide horrors. This is Tampa Bay’s most frightening adult Halloween event.

Visit the Hispanic Heritage Month Art Exhibition at the Terrace Gallery in City Hall, which displays artworks of local visual artists inspired by this year’s national theme: “Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future.”

Dr. Phillips Center presents Little Shop of Horrors. Experience the horror-comedy rock musical that remains a campy classic. Blending dark humor and catchy Motown-style music, Little Shop of Horrors tells the tale of a timid floral shop worker and a strange, man-eating plant with extraterrestrial ambitions. Featuring a local cast of Orlando talent, this show sets the stage for quirky characters, over-the-top performances and delightfully singable songs.

Orlando’s most terrifying Halloween event is back and more bone-chilling than ever. Now in its 5th year, Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld Orlando unleashes a new wave of screams with unexpected horrors lurking around every corner. This Halloween, as the sun sets and shadows stretch across the land, Clermont’s beloved Showcase of Citrus transforms into a realm of unrelenting terror. Climb aboard a towering 16-feet tall, 40-foot long Monster Trucks, manned by fearless Showcase Rangers, and plunge into an immersive, heart-pounding thrill ride into the very heart of a nightmare.

The one of a kind outdoor haunted attraction, Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail is a not-to-be-missed horror theme park in Plant City. The attraction contains multiple haunted houses (aka haunted trails), escape games, laser tag, food vendors, a gift shop, axe throwing, and a common area that features an ornate centerpiece with wandering scare actors.

Pumpkins at Santa’s Tree Farm located at 5317 Huff Road, Eustis are fresh picked, and then displayed in a shaded lot to help preserve their freshness. There is so much to enjoy here including barnyard animals, horse and pony rides, hay rides, bounce pillow, giant slide, barrel train rides, mazes and play areas.

Dr. Grimley's Haunted Trail is located at Sunsational Farms, 40541 Roger Giles Road, Umatilla, and features two themed trails where the’ll prey upon your deepest phobias with horrific scares designed to unsettle and disorient.

One of the best spooky season scare experiences in Central Florida is a horrifying journey into A Petrified Forest! This terrifying independent outdoor scare trail which is located in the Altamonte Springs area of Orlando is legendary around these parts, and this year's event is theamed to Nature's Fury, with each trail incorporating the theme. A Petrified Forest is a home grown community attraction, offering three intensely horrifying scare trails set in a genuinely spooky forest location covering around 2 acres. The trails are long, with uniquely themed rooms and awesome scares around every turn.

Far Reach Ranch in Tavares is home to a terrifying haunted attraction called Fear Reach Scream Park. Fear Reach Scream Park features 3 haunted attractions, then at Pitchfork Parlor you can enjoy spooky cocktails from the bar and live music featuring a punk/rockabilly band, plus try your hand at axe throwing and carnival games in Dr. Deviant’s Game Emporium!

Halloween is celebrated for 10 days – not just one -- in Winter Garden! Hosted by the City of Winter Garden, the annual Halloween Experience provides FREE, fun, family-friendly festivities in Downtown Winter Garden, including several nights of an outdoor animated Halloween Light Show on City Hall, a hay maze, fall/spooky-themed photo locations, decorations and light displays throughout downtown, a Halloween Celebration at the fall-themed Farmers Market, and more!

Join Showcase of Citrus Pumpkin Ponderosa located at 5010 US-27, Clermont to pick your perfect pumpkin, take great family photos, and enjoy various activities! Burn off steam on the playground, take a hayride or even a haunted monster truck ride. The Magical Maze has thirteen scary monster pictures hidden throughout…find them all and win a prize! The giant culvert slide, barrel train rides, trike track, duck races and so much more are available in the Jolly Acres play area. Jack’s Barnyard petting zoo is the place to visit with all of their farm animal friends, and experience some of the animals up close in the animal encounter areas. Screamin' Green Hauntoween returns for spooky family fun! This event is CHALK-full of spooky happenings: a themed scavenger hunt, spook-tastic crafts, character photo ops, and more! Plus, every weekend enjoy trick-or-treat stations! There is so much to "BOO", you may never want to leave. ALL Included with general admission at Crayola Experience in The Florida Mall.

The New Universal After Dark Water Theme Park Event Volcano Bay Nights returns with shorter wait times, a beach party vibe, exclusive access and seasonal character meet and greets make Volcano Bay Nights the event you want to attend while at Universal Orlando. This is a separately ticketed event and is not included with daytime theme park admission.

On select nights from Sept. 1 through Oct. 31, Pirates Dinner Adventure will host Vampirates, a Halloween-themed dinner show suitable for ghouls and goblins of all ages. You’ll witness daring stunts, dynamic duels and sensational swordplay, all while enjoying a three-course meal.

Join Lake Catherine Blueberries at the farm for their fall festivities. The farm, located at 5849 Lake Catherine Rd, Groveland will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Parking and admission to the farm is complimentary. Enjoy live music every weekend, delicious food and drink, cozy fire pits with s'mores packages, free photo opportunities with vintage tractors, children's playground, and more. The Community United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch at 4921 S US Highway 17/92. Casselberry has been a CUMC tradition for over 25 years. During the month of October, thousands of people pass through their patch. Not only is the pumpkin patch a fundraising effort, but it also serves as an outreach for the community. Granny Pumpkin talks and sings with children's groups visiting our campus, sharing with them the story of salvation, while the children sit among the bales of hay and pumpkins.

Hagerty Farms Pumpkin Patch (not a farm!), located at Oviedo High School, 3225 Lockwood Blvd. Oviedo, you'll discover pumpkins, gourds, more pumpkins and all pumpkins, just pumpkins of all kinds! This is a great spot for seasonal family pictures too.

Enzian’s 13+ Films and Cocktails are back with a vengeance! This year’s lineup is better than ever, with 17 of the spookiest, scariest, and most fun films Enzian could find.
There’s spine-chilling excitement for all ages, including the return of the Kid’s Halloween Party, Eden Bar Halloween Party, and more.

Experience The Patch at the Promenade at Sunset Walk! Select your perfect pumpkins to take home. Capture the family in the fall photo opportunity, complete with John Deere Tractor and Scarecrow! Plus, all new this year, kids can navigate the Promenade Corn Maze nightly! Enjoy live music nightly and over 30 amazing restaurants, dessert options, shops, and experiences. On Wednesday, October 22 & Wednesday, October 29, the Promenade welcomes Dance Station Studios with very special, Halloween-themed performances at 5:45 and 6:45 pm each night!

INK! is a rotating exhibition of the Contemporary American Graphics Collection featuring limited edition lithographs, etchings, etc at Orlando Museum of Art.

Before women’s soccer captured the world’s attention, the 17 athletes of the first U.S. Women’s National Team helped lay the foundation for the global success the sport enjoys today. Through striking portraits by acclaimed photographer and filmmaker Randy Bacon, The 85’ers captures the authenticity, strength, and tenacity of these groundbreaking athletes. This pocket exhibit also highlights the team’s meaningful connections to Central Florida. While the team’s popularity has grown nationwide, the athletes’ numerous ties to the local community make their achievements even more special for fans in the Orlando area.

At Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Kandy's Sweetacular Celebration takes place during regular park hours, and is included with park entry on Saturdays and Sundays from September 7 to November 3. Celebrate Halloween with trick-or-treating, costume parades and more during this family-friendly event.

The entire family will have a spooktacular time as Brevard Zoo' in Melbourne hosts its beloved family-favorite Halloween event, Boo at the Zoo.
