The Best & Worst Times To Fly For The Christmas & New Year Holidays 2022

Updated: Dec 11, 2022

As Christmas and the New Year’s holiday approaches, millions of Floridians are getting ready to travel for the year-end holidays.

This year nearly 43% of American adults plan to travel to a vacation destination or holiday gathering this year, and with travel rapidly recovering, the 2022 holiday season is looking to be extremely busy, with many people flying for the first time in a few years.

It's also worth remembering that with Christmas and New Year’s Day being on a Sunday this year, federal and bank holidays will officially recognize the Christmas Day holiday on December 26 and the New Year’s Day holiday on January 2, both Mondays.

This could possibly mean more people decide to fly on those days, which means they will be busier than what Monday's normally are.
