Oh Boy! Donald & Daisy Lead The Half Marathon at the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

Thousands of runners joined the party on Saturday morning at the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Half Marathon

This year's Marathon Weekend is the 30th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, and to celebrate, the 2023 event has been a 90's fun fest of bright and bold retro costumes, amazing Disney Characters, and so many people having an awesome time!

This mornings race, the 30th Walt Disney World Marathon, kicked off at 5 am., and we will bring you coverage later today, but first we are taking a look back at yesterday's Half Marathon.

Congratulations to all runners of the 2023 Walt Disney World Half Marathon presented by State Farm! This year the costumes have been amazing, everyone has been getting in the 90's groove!!

We can take a look at a few highlights from yesterday morning’s very colourful Half Marathon, thanks to runDisney.

This mornings 6.2-mile race had an abundance of dazzle and entertainment along the way, and some awesome character interactions.

The Half Marathon is an ideal choice for runners seeking a good test of their endurance while having fun at the same time, everyone yesterday was so happy, lots of smiling faces, and people having a great time.

There was so many amazing Characters cheering the runners on, including Mickey Mouse in his Birthday outfit, which we loved seeing, so cute.

It was great to see Max, who was on hand too for some awesome 90's vibe photo ops.

Even Turk put in an appearance!

The 13.1-mile was an adventure through the Disney theme parks, and the weather was ideal.

The characters are a real highlight of the runDisney events, and we love how every race there is a a few surprise characters too.

We adored these runners and their costumes! How colourful are they!!

We loved the Lumier photo op!

How amazing is this 101 Dalmations photo op! Awesome costumes too, perfect.

Jafar seemed to be having fun... we think!
