Join in the Buddha's Birthday Celebration at Orlando's Guang Ming Temple

Guang Ming Temple is a branch of Fo Guang Shan. The temple serves as a center for multicultural education, social functions and festival activities.

On Sunday, May 19 from 10 am to 3 pm, Orlando's Guang Ming Temple will host Buddha’s Birthday Celebration.
Everyone in the community is invited to the free celebrations, where you are welcome to explore the temple, experience the culture and the enjoy the enticing foods!!
Highlights of the Buddha’s Birthday Celebration is a Celebration Ceremony with authentic Asian attire and monastic chanting, plus the opportunity to Interact with the Bathing Buddha Display and dedicate your year to the three acts of goodness.
Plus. enjoy the Food and Arts Fair featuring enticing authentic foods, together with arts and crafts.
There will also be entertainment with unique performances, including the thunderous beats of the traditional Japanese drums known as 'Taiko,'

Join the act of bathing the Baby Buddha. It is practiced to help us cleanse ourselves and purify our minds. It is a catalyst which helps us to enhance our morality, cultivate our compassion, and increase our respect of others.
