Winter Garden's NEW ice cream & waffle shop that boasts a hip & enticing ambience paired with over-the-top desserts, the insta-worthy concept The Dolly Llama is kicking off 2023 with a NEW location at 3279 Daniels Rd, Suite 106, and is hosting a Grand Opening Celebration on January 7.
On the day, the first 100 guests will receive a free swag bag of Dolly Llama merch, with other giveaways and raffles taking place throughout the day!
Designed with a unique llama logo, llama footprints, bold & colorful lettering and llama ‘wanted’ signs, The Dolly Llama offers waffles derived from recipes around the world paired with 16 dairy and vegan ice cream flavors.
Guests are encouraged to get creative, and build a waffle creation on top of a Hong Kong Bubble Waffle or a Belgian-style OG waffle, and then go nuts with unlimited toppings and sauces! Signature creations include ‘Dolly’s Dream’, made with ultimate cookie monster ice cream, brownies and fresh strawberries, or ‘Party Animal’ which includes salted caramel ice cream, nostalgic circus animal cookies and chocolate sauce!
The concept also offers hand-blended milkshakes, waffle ice cream sandwiches or personalized waffle boxes that come with 6 mini OG Liege waffles paired with a guest's choice of toppings!
“We are very excited to open in just a few weeks and offer The Dolly Llama’s famed waffles and ice cream delights to the Winter Garden and greater Orlando community!,” said Sabina and Amit Maini, co-franchisees of the The Dolly Llama Winter Garden. “We fell in love with The Dolly Llama after visiting a cousin who lives in Los Angeles, and we happened upon the shop in Koreatown. The name is catchy and the menu is fun so it immediately prompted us to look into opportunities with the brand. Amit has experience in the restaurant industry and understands the management operations, while I have previously been involved in my families’ ice cream franchise and understand the menu and customer service side. We moved to Winter Garden from California 17 years ago, and the city has since transformed into a lively hub for families who want to live in Central Florida – making it the perfect spot for The Dolly Llama! We can’t wait to celebrate our Grand Opening with the community and offer this unique concept to guests, neighbors, and tourists of all ages!”
Dolly Llama features made-to-order waffles, together with 16 flavors of ice cream, including four that are vegan, as well as nine sauces and 19 toppings.
Among the most popular signature waffle cones is Dolly's Dream, topped with Ultimate Cookie Monster ice cream, fresh strawberries, brownies and Nutella.
Other favorites include the Party Animal, featuring Salted Caramel ice cream, Kinder chocolate bar, circus animal cookies and chocolate sauce, and Sugar N' Sprice, with Horchata ice cream, Speculoos cookies, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and caramel sauce.
