Chick'nCone located at 501 N. Orlando Avenue in Winter Park has closed forever.
Franchised chicken chain, Chick ‘n Cone which specialises in handheld fried chicken and waffles has revealed that its Winter Park location is closing just over a year after opening.
The Winter Park location which only opened on April 30, 2022 was a family owned and operated restaurant, with the family sharing a statement on their Facebook page that they had made the difficult decision to close the doors on the business due to some personal reasons.
Here is the statement in full:
"It is with sadness and a sense of changing times that we write this letter. After great consideration, we made the difficult decision to permanently close our doors.
Opening Chick’nCone Winter Park in April 2022, we had many dreams and goals of providing great-tasting food and the ultimate satisfaction of providing superior customer service. To achieve this, we worked tirelessly as a small family-owned business giving our best shot every day, where we took the greatest care to fulfill all the needs of our customers, and for this, every possible effort was taken.
For a time, we enjoyed some success, all thanks to our valuable customers and their faith in us, but now we had to make the decision to close our business due to some personal reasons.
All the thanks to our family, employees, friends, business associates, and loyal customers. We will never forget the amount of support we received as you will be forever in our hearts.
Sincerely,
Chick’nCone Winter Park
