Missy Elliott is making history once again in 2024 with the OUT OF THIS WORLD — The Missy Elliott Experience – her first-ever headline tour. Global superstar Missy Elliott is currently on the road wirh her history-making debut headline tour, OUT OF THIS WORLD — The Missy Elliott Experience.. Continuing her stellar dominance as one of the most significant artists in music, the pioneer of female Hip Hop/R&B will land in Tampa and Orlando with Hip Hop legend Busta Rhymes, Multi-Platinum selling superstar Ciara, and mega producer Timbaland. The tour featuring a 24-city run, kicked off on July 4 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, making stops across North America in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Brooklyn, and more, including at stop in Orlando at downtown's Kia Center on July 30. An avant-garde solo superstar, pioneering songwriter-producer, and across-the-board cultural icon, the four-time GRAMMY Award winning Elliott has attained unprecedented success, including 22 GRAMMY®nominations spanning three decades, eight MTV Video Music Awards, and sales now exceeding 30M in the U.S. alone. All of Missy’s six studio albums have each been RIAA platinum certified or better, marking her among the only female rappers ever to achieve that remarkable accomplishment. Among her countless triumphs, 2023 saw Elliott named as the first female hip-hop artist to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, rightly declaring her “a true path breaker in a male-dominated genre.” Elliott’s most recent work, 2019’s acclaimed EP, ICONOLOGY, drew instant applause upon its surprise release, with USA Today declaring it “a master class at the school of Missy Misdemeanor Elliott.” That same year saw the iconic star making history as the first female hip-hop artist ever to receive the MTV Video Music Awards’ prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. 2019 also saw her break new ground as the first female hip-hop artist and third-ever rapper to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In addition, Elliott became the first female rapper to receive an honorary Doctor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music, celebrating her lasting contributions to music and popular culture. Further accolades followed in 2021, with Elliott named among the twelve inaugural inductees for the new Atlanta landmark, The Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame, and later honored with her own star on the world famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2022, Elliott’s hometown of Portsmouth, VA celebrated its favorite daughter by presenting her with the Key to the City and renaming a portion of McLean Street to “Missy Elliott Boulevard” and declaring October 17 as Missy Elliott Day. What’s more, Virginia’s Norfolk State University awarded Elliott with the Presidential Commencement Medallion and an honorary degree at their fall 2022 commencement ceremony, acknowledging her “outstanding professional achievements and extraordinary contributions to public service.” In addition to her historic induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2023, the Recording Academy’s Black Music Collective presented Elliott with its Recording Academy Global Impact Award, honoring her personal and professional achievements in the music industry. The 2023 GRAMMY Awards saw Elliott among the superstars celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, joining such icons as LL Cool J, Ice-T, Method Man, Busta Rhymes, and Salt-N-Pepa for a landmark performance honoring the genre’s diverse history. Additional 2023 tributes include the Black Music Honors’ “Music Innovator Icon” award as well as a special ESSENCE cover story celebrating her headline performance at the 2023 ESSENCE Festival of Culture in New Orleans. Indeed, Missy Elliott deserves all the flowers and then some. Now, with her OUT OF THIS WORLD — The Missy Elliott Experience hitting arenas across North America with Ciara, Busta Rhymes and special guest Timbaland – and new music always on the horizon – Missy Elliott continues to stand tall over pop culture as a true creative architect and revolutionary artist, her prophetic sound and vision as groundbreaking and influential as ever before. • Walt Disney World welcomes FOUR new Zebra Foals to the savannas at Animal Kingdom and Animal Kingdom Lodge

Disney's Animals, Science and Environment have revealed the addition of four adorable new babies to Walt Disney World. It has been a stripe-tacular summer at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge! Walt Disney World has welcomed not one – but FOUR adorable Hartmann’s mountain zebra foals to the savannas, and you just might see one of them on your next visit! Just like their extraordinary stripes that line their bodies, every one of these foals is unique with each having their own special personalities as they explore their vast surroundings. At Walt Disney World , you will find three distinct types of zebras: Hartmann’s mountain  zebra, Grevy’s zebra and the plains zebra. Hartmann’s mountain zebras are found on slopes and plateaus in mountainous areas found in sub-Saharan Africa. The first of this season’s recently born foals is still earning his stripes, as one might say. Second-time mom Aziza delivered the healthy and tall baby boy at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on July 16. The two are bonding in a backstage area before they run out onto the wide open Harambe Wildlife Reserve. Aziza already has some experience with motherhood as she gave birth to Dot last year . Another family tree expanded in the early morning hours on July 8. First-time mom, Asha, gave birth to a beautiful baby boy! Standing tall just like his mother, this curious foal was nursing, exploring his surroundings and greeting animal care teams by the time breakfast rolled around for many of the other animals. Did you know that within an hour of birth, foals are ready to run? Their long legs seem almost too big for their little bodies, but zebras use their powerful legs to evade predators. Adults can reach top speeds of 40 miles per hour! If you look closely, this foal has a unique dash, or horizontal stripe, near his front right leg. Similarly, his grandma, Heidi, also has this unique pattern too. Second-time mom, Juno, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Cada at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. If you look closely, Cada has a one-of-a-kind white marking within one of the black stripes on her back legs. She has been vocalizing and prancing around alongside mom and her big sister, Cricket, who was also born at the park in 2023. Much like humans, zebras use vocalizations, facial expressions and body language to express themselves. Straight, upright ears indicate a friendly, confident attitude, while pulled back ears may mean zebras are disturbed or uncertain and ears leaned forward show they are paying close attention to something. Hartmann’s mountain zebras are very expressive with one another and these behaviors allow the animal care teams to be attentive to their behavior and socialization needs. You may see some of these expressions the next time you see our zebra herd out on savanna. The oldest of the Hartmann’s mountain zebra foals, Penne, arrived on June 13 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Penne weighed nearly 100 pounds and was up exploring shortly after birth. Mother, Heidi, is familiar with the idea of having an energetic newborn running around. Her first foal, Asha, was born at the park in 2020. Now that Asha is a mother of her own – we have three generations of Hartmann’s mountain zebras out on the savanna at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge! Since her birth, Penne and Heidi have been delighting guests as they explore the savanna. Each of these new arrivals is incredibly special for the Hartmann’s mountain zebra species. Currently, these animals are listed as a vulnerable species due to habitat loss and hunting. These births are a success thanks to the Species Survival Plan, overseen by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums that ensures responsible breeding and genetic diversity of hundreds of animal species. These four new foals join the long list of more than 5,000 animals that receive exceptional care every day at Walt Disney World.
