Dinosaurs and dragons are taking over New Port Richey on the west coast of the state, a two hour road trip from Orlando.
Dinos & Dragons is a new life-sized display of prehistoric animals, spread over eight acres at the Harry Schwettman Education Center, located at 5520 Grand Boulevard in New Port Richey.
Together with the walking trail which features over 100 species of dinosaurs and dragons, which includes many animatronic dinos, visitors can enjoy a Dino lab where experts are prepping real dinosaur bones, educating people how Paleontology works.
The event which runs through February 26, 2023, is a fundraising effort by the Museum of Archaeology, Paleontology & Science (MAPS).
Organizers said proceeds will benefit the MAPS natural history museum, which is looking for a permanent home in Pasco County.
Dinos & Dragons runs through February 6 at the Schwettman Education Center, to learn more about ticketing and hours, visit the events website.
