Orlando pop-up Smokemade Meats + Eats prepares to open new bricks & mortar BBQ Restaurant

Smokemade Meats + Eats have fired up the smoker as they prepare to open their first Orlando area restaurant.

After 3 years of sold out pop-ups throughout Orlando, Smokemade Meats + Eats are getting ready to open the doors to their first bricks and mortar location in Downtown Orlando at 1400 S Crystal Lake Dr, Orlando in the Curry Ford West District.

The new Texas style BBQ restaurant is set to soft open on Friday, March 22. Opening from 11 am until sellout on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

A grand opening will be announced in the near future, with a third anniversary party of the business in April.

The mouth watering menu includes meats by the 1/2 LB including Brisket, Pulled Pork, Pork Ribs, Smoked Turkey, Hot Gut Sausage, and more!

The restaurant will also offer large order pick up and BBQ catering options which can be customized for your group or special event. From BBQ sandwiches & sides for office lunches, corporate meetings, and family reunions to wedding and event catering for groups up to 300. Mobile BBQ pit available for large events, based on availability.

Smokemade Meats + Eats was born from owner and pitmaster, Tyler Brunache’s passion for low and slow Central Texas-style BBQ. He started cooking for friends while earning his entrepreneurship degree at Florida State University. After a stage and one-on-one cooks with well-traveled pitmaster Dylan Taylor, the hobby became a mission.

Smokemade Meats earned a loyal fanbase doing weekly barbecue pop ups and market appearances at local craft breweries throughout Washington, DC in 2019. The pandemic prompted Tyler to return back home to Orlando, FL to be closer to family and friends.

Tyler began pop ups around the Orlando area in 2021 with regular appearances at Tactical Brewing, Tasty Tuesday in the Milk District, GB’s Bottle Shop, Whippoorwill Beer House & Package Store, and the popular Orlando Parking Lot Party pop up festivals.

As word spread, it inspired us Tyler to start looking for a brick and mortar space, resulting in the new Smokemade Meats + Eats restaurant in Curry Ford West.
