- SeaWorld Orlando Howl-O-Scream Is Back Bigger & Even More Terrifying In 2022
Howl-O-Scream resurfaces for 28 nights at SeaWorld Orlando on select nights with nowhere to hide! With 5 haunted houses, 7 scare zones, 3 terrifying live shows, roaming hoards, and pulse-pounding coasters in the dark, this year promises to be bigger than ever before. When night falls, things take an ominous turn as a cast of creepy characters emerge from the depths and lure guests into worlds of horror. Guests must evade angry haunts as they rampage through scare zones or seek shelter indoors, only to find they have entered a house of horrors. They can deepen the thrill with a chilling nighttime ride on Mako, Manta, Infinity Falls or the park’s newest thrill ride, Ice Breaker. Guests can quench their thirst for fear at a fiendishly interactive bar, or feel the monstrous electricity of a live show. Howl-O-Scream 2022 features more haunted houses, more scare zones, more coasters and more unexpected frights than the Inaugural Fear—making it a can’t miss experience for haunt fans and thrill seekers alike. SeaWorld Orlando’s Howl-O-Scream 2022 runs select nights from September 9 to October 31. More Horrifying Houses Guests at Howl-O-Scream will be immersed in terror as they hear every bloodcurdling shriek and feel every spine-tingling terror upon entering any of the houses at this year’s haunt. They may encounter Scratch, a siren with a thirst for blood as they race to escape her clutches in the All-New “Blood Beckoning” or they may find themselves a permanent part of a ship crew, driven mad by cursed treasure in the All-New “Siren of the Seas,” Re-imagined houses “Captain’s Revenge—Drowned in Darkness” and “Dead Vines-Root of all Evil,” will frighten even the most daring and fan-favorite returning house, “Beneath the Ice” will chill guests to the bone. More Spine-Chilling Scare Zones Nowhere is safe from horror at Howl-O-Scream 2022. Guests must make their way through immersive scare zones that will test the limits of their bravery. They can try to run from icy, subhuman walkers in an Arctic wasteland, wander through a sea of restless souls or find themselves captive by the voodoo of the backwater bayous. A terrifying number of All-New Scare Zones join Howl-O-Scream 2022 as “Terrors of the Deep,” “Sea of Fear,” “Cut Throat Cove,” and “Captive Cargo” join the re-imagined “Frozen Terror” and returning “Deadly Ambush” and “Witchcraft Bayou.” More Sinister Shows The Howl-O-Scream experience would not be complete without SeaWorld’s darkly entertaining, high-energy shows like the haunting “Siren’s Song”. Guests can hear a famed explorer’s tales of tracking sirens in the All-New “Lurking in the Depths” or be mesmerized watching a pulse-pounding musical performance starring the one and only Jack the Ripper in the award-winning “Monster Stomp.” More Bewitching Bars: While there is no true escape from the terror, this year’s haunt features several themed interactive bar experiences that may not provide a respite from guests’ fears but are sure to quench their thirsts for adventure. Each bewitching bar features specialty creepy cocktails for thirsty thrill-seekers. Guests can check out the All-New “Allura’s on the Rocks” but be careful not to look directly at the host who can turn people to stone with one glance. Guests may notice her recent victims nearby. Others may prefer to hear the tales of the mythical monsters at “Longshoremen's Tavern,” grab a frosty cold one at “Tormented,” answer the call at “Siren’s Last Call” or pick their poison at “Poison Grotto.” The Complete Guide To Howl-O-Scream 2022 Haunted Houses Blood Beckoning (New) It’s time you learned that not all sirens are the same. Welcome to the underworld, where the abandoned and forgotten dwell in shadows. There’s no turning back now because she’s here, waiting for you. Her name is Scratch, and beauty is in her blood. You have just what she and her disciples need to sustain their allure. It’s racing through your veins right now. Sirens of the Seas (New) This ship sure doesn’t look like the pictures. Where’s the sparkling pool and the to-die-for buffet? No, there are terrible things on deck here. Every crumbling gangway and decaying stateroom is crawling with restless souls. Maybe those wild siren stories were true after all. You better say “bon voyage” to your chances of making it back to port. But don’t worry, the crew will be right with you…everywhere you turn. Dead Vines - Root of all Evil Something is stirring among the trees. A shiver runs down your spine as you creep forward, one timid step at a time. Is this jungle alive…or undead? There’s an ominous force at work here, a merciless mistress of ivy and evil. She’s poisoned these woods with an all-consuming appetite for visitors like you. Keep moving and find a way out before it’s too late. You don’t want to end up dead on the vine. Captain’s Revenge – Drowned in Darkness Lilting melodies and whispers of untold fortune lured you aboard. Now those haunting echoes have been drowned out by howling winds and crashing waves. You may just find yourself a permanent part of this crew, driven mad by cursed treasure and doomed to face the fury of the sea. Darkness is here, and she’s not letting you violate her waters and escape to shore. Make no mistake: Your ship has not come in. Beneath the Ice In the icy wilderness above the Arctic Circle, a research facility was lost…buried under snow and cut off from the outside world. Something compelled you to join the rescue party, but doubt is creeping in. Was that laughter, or the wind? That shiver you feel isn’t just from the cold. These chambers aren’t just frozen tombs. They’re pulsing with unspeakable horrors, and you’ll have to stay frosty and alert to survive. Scare Zones Sea of Fear The growing dread couldn’t keep you from being lured here. You’ve finally reached their gathering place…the portal to all the terrors you’ve only heard whispers of. They’re already here, lurking in the shadows and crevices, ready to bring you into the fold. It’s time to dip your toe in the water. Just don’t expect a friendly welcome. Terrors of the Deep There’s something different here…a presence, ancient and foreboding. Perhaps the lost city wasn’t all peace and prosperity. Why does that statue look so terrified? Things are moving all around you, as though long-captive creatures have finally escaped their watery prison. The legends are true. The curse is real. Will you survive to tell the tale? Cargo Carnage This is no ordinary shipping delay. There’s a much more sinister presence lurking in and around these crates, ready to swoop in at any moment. They’re out for blood, and you’re just the supplier they’ve been waiting for. Do your best to make it through unscathed. Just remember, you can’t spell “freight” without fright. Cut Throat Cove This is it…the site of that horrific shipwreck. Those marauding pirates were too arrogant to see their downfall coming, and now they’re doomed to wander through a sea of gruesome reminders. Their souls are restless, and their anger is real. They’ll never stop seeking revenge on those who’ve escaped their ghostly fate. Frozen Terror - Alive in the Ice You might think you’re a safe distance from the snow-entombed research facility, but you’re not free from the frozen horrors. This inhospitable Arctic wasteland is swarming with icy, subhuman walkers. They may have pickaxes and shovels, but they’re not here to help dig for survivors. They’re here to turn you into one of them. Deadly Ambush The year is 1961. You’ve wandered into a quaint campground, nestled in nature. It might sound like a dream, but a new nightmare has just begun here. What’s happened to the campers? Creatures are emerging from the darkness. There’s nowhere to hide, and no park ranger to rescue you. Get back to civilization now, before it’s too late. Witchcraft Bayou The cult is growing, and the lure is powerful. It’s hazardous to pass through this backwater bayou, but there’s no way around. Voodoo and witchcraft aren’t real, right? Tell that to the zealous worshippers trying to shackle you with their spells. They won’t rest until your soul belongs to her too. Stay alert, or the dark magic will drag you down. Terrifying Shows Monster Stomp In the misty corners of Victorian-era London, a fiend known only as Jack the Ripper walks the streets. Watch him take the stage in a way you’ve never seen before in this modern rock and rhythm spectacular. Hold onto your seat as electrifying percussion, dancing, and singing combine for a show that’s as darkly entertaining as it is exhilarating. Siren’s Song Who’s behind all these ominous occurrences? Here’s your chance to find out…if you have the courage to face her, and all the others she’s summoned to help her carry out the carnage. Prepare for special effects, hypnotic dancing, and spine-chilling savagery in this outdoor spectacle. This is the story of the sirens, and it’s not for the faint of heart. Lurking in the Depths: An Adventurer’s Tale (New) You’ve studied the clues. You’ve heard the haunting song. You’ve seen the terrors emerging. Now get a firsthand account from Sam “Hud” Hudson, the famed explorer and siren hunter who’s been on the trail all along. What hysterical moments will surface? How does he face down the horrors? You never know where an adventurer’s tale might lead. Bar Experiences Allura’s on the Rocks (New) If your mouth suddenly feels dry, it may be because you’ve just encroached on her lair. Fortunately for you, there are plenty of spirits here to quench your thirst and calm your nerves. Settle in and try to unwind…and if you think you hear a hissing sound, don’t investigate. Remember, one look in the wrong direction could turn you to stone. Longshoremen Tavern There be a new tavern in port where pirates warm their bellies with flamin’ rum. You might hear tales of mythical monsters and intrepid adventurers. You might discover an old SeaWorld treasure that’s been (partially) resurrected. Take a break from the sirens and squalls and plant your weary hides here. The Longshoremen are dying to entertain you. Tormented This is one place where a cold frosty one is a good thing. Take refuge from the wintry terrors of the Arctic hellscape outside and do a little refueling here. If you’re feeling mischievous, you can even join in and frighten your fellow expeditioners while they’re braving the horrors beneath the ice. How’s that for refreshing? Poison Grotto What’s your poison? Unwind with a refreshing concoction and explore the enticing atmosphere of this unearthly lounge. It’s a fleeting escape from the deadly vines and savage servants nearby. Just be sure to keep your eyes open and pay proper respect to the one who lured you in. You’re her guest here, and she’s always watching. Sirens’ Last Call Creatures of the shadows need a place to play too. Could it be this rusted-out underground warehouse? Glance around and do your best to blend in. The regulars here are devoted followers of the sirens, and they know how to spot an outsider. Be sure to pay homage to them by trying the bar’s signature drink, “The Siren’s Kiss.” Tickets Howl-O-Scream 2022 runs select nights Sept. 9 - Oct. 31 at SeaWorld Orlando. - Top Foods & Drinks To Try At Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) 2022
When you enter this year’s Halloween Horror Nights event at Universal Studios Florida, you are certain to hear ominous, foreboding sounds, blood-curdling screams and me at every food cart saying “Trick or treat. Plants or meat. Give me something good to eat.” The food and drink offerings are scary good and just might be bewitching enough to get me to go through a haunted house or two without peeing my pants (no promises though). From meaty appetizers and vegan specialties to savory snacks and terrifying treats, your scream squad will have plenty of options to feed your fear with these top foods. SPOOKTACULAR VEGAN BITES Oh, my gourd! Chefs Christian Markussen and Chris Colón continue to make me a believer in vegan cuisine. For Halloween Horror Nights 31, they expanded the meatless options and focused on developing menu items that — first and foremost — taste amazing and secondly, look so good you must try them. Fried Zombie Brains (Sting Alley behind Starbucks) Vegan tempura battered cauliflower florets tossed in spicy gochujang (go-chew-jang) sauce and garnished with toasted sesame seeds and scallions. Grab extra forks for this shareable appetizer. African Lentil & Potato Sambusa Coffin (Gramercy Park) This was my favorite vegan dish — reminded me of a lighter version of the pasty meat pies I grew up eating in Michigan. A filling and flavorful mixture of African lentils, carrots, onion, garlic, and potato sambusa tossed in an Ethiopian spice blend and entombed in a light and flaky vegan pie dough coffin. Lil’ Boo’s Spicy Pumpkin Bun (San Francisco Food Cart) Lil’ Boo inspired this adorable dish and is sure to be a fan favorite. An orange steamed bao bun filled with a vegetarian, spicy butternut squash. Roasted Sweet Potato & Mushroom Street Tacos (La Bamba Courtyard) Roasted sweet potatoes and mushrooms topped with vegan crumbled cheese, red onions, and cilantro served with a vegan birria consommé for dipping. DEADLY DELICIOUS DELIGHTS The amazing chefs behind the Halloween Horror Nights menu! From left to right: Chris Colon, Travis Byron, Christian Markussen, Chad Beuter and Ron Cope Welcome to Sting Alley — or as Chef Christian Markussen puts it the “pièce de résistance.” The idea for a “butcher shop” food venue was dreamt up one day while walking around Universal Studios Florida thinking of new ideas for this year’s event. Having just returned from opening Universal Beijing Resort, he recalled seeing the street stalls with butcher shops and the natural creepiness that comes from them. It was a perfect fit for HHN. Spicy Fried Chicken “Offals” (Sting Alley behind Starbucks) Don’t let the name fool you. These delectable chicken bites are the cousin to the Fried Zombie Brains. Crispy fried chicken thigh pieces, peanuts, and crunchy chili rings tossed in a spicy gochujang sauce and topped with toasted sesame seeds and scallions, plus it’s a Chef favorite. You’ll find other carnivore-approved eats around the park, including: Pepperoni Pizza Skulls (Gramercy Park) This dish reminded me of a grown-up version of pizza bites. Soft and chewy skull crust is stuffed with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese and nestled in a bowl of marinara. Eat with a knife and fork or go all in and bite the face off. Maggot-Covered Cheese Dog (Bridge by Fear Factor) Battered Korean-style all-beef hot dog on a stick layered with mozzarella cheese, rolled in puffed rice cereal and topped with gochujang drizzle and black sesame seeds. Note to self: get this before going through Bugs: Eaten Alive House! Haunted Horseshoe (Gramercy Park) This classic burger style out of Illinois is served open faced on garlic Texas toast with jalapeño bacon, spicy candied pork belly, crinkle cut fries and cheddar cheese sauce. Screams classic HHN food. Witches Spell Cauldron Stew (Food Trailer in Music Plaza) A hearty green chili and shredded chicken stew with hominy corn and beans topped with fresh crema and garnished with skeleton-shaped cornbread. This was a personal fave. It’s basically fall in a bowl. SWEET REVENGE DESSERTS Pastry Chef Cheryl Figueroa Rivera is back with her spellbinding sweets that are sure to make your sweet tooth tingle. “Major Sweets” Ice Cream Sandwich (Gramercy Park) How cute is this zombie candy corn? I could just eat him up… oh wait, I did. With two candy-corn sugar cookies filled with sweet corn ice cream, it’s an unexpected twist on a Halloween candy staple. Coconut Yuzu Eyeball (TODAY Cafe) This one-eyed dessert is filled with coconut mousse and Yuzu, a Japanese citrus fruit in the center, and decorated with a prickly pear eye and hibiscus coulis for a refreshingly light treat. Spoiled Angry Bear Meat (Sting Alley behind Starbucks) Served on a cellophane-wrapped meat tray complete with an ingredient sticker, this sweet and salty treat is almost too believable to eat. A savory, crunchy and spicy white cheddar-flavored marshmallow treat. Killer Stove Top Popcorn Custard (Gramercy Park) It was hands down my favorite. Butter popcorn-infused custard with a layer of caramel on the bottom, topped with “blood-spattered” sweet kettle corn and served in a mini aluminum pie tin. BOO’S AND BOOZE Fall-flavored and fragrant beers plus signature cocktails are a plenty at themed bars around the park. Here are just some of the highlights: Beers Pecan Pie Cider: this cider on draft is perfect pairing for desserts Lacto Kooler: a Berliner Weisse, sour beer in a fun, hologram-like can Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale: a returning favorite from last year. Infuses pumpkin pie spices, natural cinnamon, nutmeg, and real pumpkin Signature Cocktails Electric Death: Gin-based Tiki drink with Bols Blue Curaçao, lime juice, BR Reynolds Orgeat almond syrup, simple syrup, pineapple juice, and pimento bitters Burning Skull: Tequila-based drink with gran gala liquer, lime juice, simple syrup, mango nectar, pineapple juice, jalapeno and basil concentrate mixed with smoked chipotle pepper bitters and served in a skull-shaped souvenir cup HUNGRY FOR MORE No Halloween Horror Nights would be the same without returning favorites like Pizza Fries and Twisted Taters, but venture off the beaten path and try the new Halloween-themed food and beverage options at select venues in Universal CityWalk, including Voodoo Doughnut, Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen, and Red Coconut Club (appropriately re-themed to Dead Coconut on event nights). Or better yet, keep the screams going at one of the eight Universal Orlando Hotels. With even more Halloween-inspired specialty drinks and themed lounges, it’s the best way to experience the World’s Premier Halloween Event. Halloween Horror Nights is happening on select nights September 2 – October 31. So, grab your scream squad and get ready to feed your fear night after night this fall.

- The Complete Guide To Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights 2022
Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights has returned for its 31st terrifying year at Universal Orlando Resort here in Orlando. Guests can experience the legendary HHN event that features a total of 10 haunted houses, including six houses with all-new original concepts, five sinister scare zones and two live shows designed to bring deepest fears to life! “Hailed by fans as ‘nonstop scary awesomeness,’ ‘absolutely terrifying’ and ‘downright chilling,’ Halloween Horror Nights is the pinnacle of immersive Halloween entertainment and has transformed fall travel into a ‘must do’ for people around the globe,” Universal said in a news release. “Season after season, the terror has no bounds as Universal Orlando pulls out all of the sinister stops to celebrate Halloween with a fearsome slate of festivities that not only come to life at the award-winning event – but also across the entire destination, from dining to hotel experiences and more.” Haunted Houses The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare For the first time ever, multi award-winning artist The Weeknd joins forces with Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights to inspire an all-new, terrifying haunted house based on his record-breaking “After Hours” album. With the eerie sounds of the hit album reverberating throughout the experience, guests will step into a surreal living nightmare in “The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare” – filled with grotesque characters and themes inspired by the artist’s music and short films. Halloween John Carpenter’s classic 1978 slasher film “Halloween” returns to Halloween Horror Nights in a terrifying haunted house – “Halloween” – where guests come face-to-face with the merciless Michael Myers. As guests make their way through his dilapidated home and chilling moments from the film, they’ll narrowly dodge attacks from the knife-wielding Myers as he stalks their every move. Universal Monsters: Legends Collide Universal Pictures’ most notorious horror icons, The Wolf Man, Dracula and The Mummy, come together for the first time ever in the all-new “Universal Monsters: Legends Collide” haunted house. Guests will get caught in the middle of a bloodthirsty battle between the terrifying trio as they hunt to find the amulet that will break their curse – and they’ll destroy anyone who gets in their way. The Horrors of Blumhouse Two horror masterpieces come to life in “The Horrors of Blumhouse.” Guests will find themselves trapped between a frantic teen and the ruthless serial killer she’s swapped bodies with in Freaky. Then, they’ll try to make a desperate escape from the dark basement of The Grabber’s “fun” house before they become his latest victim in the terrifying The Black Phone. Spirits of the Coven Guests will be invited to a lively 1920s speakeasy, but something sinister is brewing beneath in “Spirits of the Coven.” A coven of seemingly beautiful flapper witches will lure those who enter into a hidden brewing area. Once they’ve ensnared their victims, they’ll reveal their haggish true form and turn guests into a witch’s brew. They’ll be cackling; everyone else will be screaming. Bugs: Eaten Alive While touring a 1950s home of the future, guests will be swarmed by hordes of revolting insects after a pest control system failure unleashes them. Many-legged horrors, growing, mutating and laying eggs in human hosts will worm their way into the deepest of fears. Those who dare enter will be dropping like flies in “Bugs: Eaten Alive.” Fiesta de Chupacabras The mountains of Latin America are filled with many wonderful traditions. In one tiny village, they pay tribute to the legendary creature Chupacabras with an annual fiesta. In “Fiesta de Chupacabras,” there’s more to the legend than meets the eye. And in this colorful village, the streets are lined with the crimson blood of visitors. Hellblock Horror They too do time for their crimes. In “Hellblock Horror,” guests will have to survive visiting hours in a secret penitentiary that houses treacherous monsters and fiends of all kinds that are hell bent on taking over and destroying the world. The interdimensional power core containing the inmates has failed and the monsters are breaking out of their cells, allowing them easy access to guests, and the exit. Dead Man’s Pier: Winter’s Wake There’s nothing charming about this ghostly New England fishing village. A phantom sea captain is summoning undead fishermen from their watery grave, a grisly crew with rotting, barnacle-encrusted bodies. Guests may have escaped their hooks in the “Dead Man’s Wharf” scare zone in 2016 – now they’d better batten down the hatches before they’re reeled in and drug under in “Dead Man’s Pier: Winter’s Wake.” Descendants of Destruction Deep in the subway tunnels below an abandoned, toxic city, mutated humans fight for survival in “Descendants of Destruction.” The deeper one goes, the darker their fate. In the fading light of the poisoned depths, hideous creatures who’ve long ago left their humanity behind prey on all who try to make their way through the darkness. Scare Zones Horrors of Halloween The Pumpkin Lord, the spirit of Halloween, has returned to take over this year’s event, summoning hordes of fiendish creatures including demons, ghosts and witches. Terror has taken root. Scarecrow: Cursed Soil At an abandoned farm, scarecrow sentinels have risen from the crust of the earth to hunt souls and seek revenge. They’ll harvest the screams of those who dare enter this dilapidated barn. Sweet Revenge The sweets from Major Sweets’ candy company have turned these 1950s kids into crazed killers. With pint-sized costumed maniacs roaming the streets, Halloween will be a night of trick-or-treat mayhem. This scare zone will be located in the New York area of the park near the Revenge of the Mummy attraction. Graveyard: Deadly Unrest On All Hallow’s Eve, a dark storm descends upon a cemetery and awakens long-dead spirits. These specters rise from their graves to capture souls for all eternity. No one living can escape them. This scare zone will be located in the Hollywood area of the park. Conjure The Dark An evil sorceress has entered twisted stone ruins and called forth monstrosities from dark dimensions. This Halloween, blood will feed her army of the night. Live Shows Halloween Nightmare Fuel Wildfire The new show is a sequel to last year’s fan-favorite “Halloween Nightmare Fuel” show featuring the world-famous performance group, The Fuel Girls – highlighting a new Dreamer in the depths of a new nightmare set to a heart-pounding metal, rock and electronica score. This show will be located in the outside theater next to the Men In Black: Alien Attack attraction. Ghoulish! A Halloween Tale As darkness falls, a ghost story becomes reality as guests go beyond the grave in a spectacularly spooky show on Universal Studios’ lagoon, featuring huge water screens and sinister music. The Grim Reaper takes guests on a journey of what happens beyond the grave – all set to eerily-remixed music by some of today’s most iconic artists. Tribute Store Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store is returning for the popular event. For the first time ever, the scares taking root in the streets of Universal Studios Florida will bleed into the theme of the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store with a collection of incredibly detailed environments inspired by the iconic Halloween haunts featured throughout the event, the theme park said. Guests will shop the latest Halloween Horror Nights merchandise and treats as they venture highly-themed rooms including a Pumpkin Patch, Cemetery, Witch’s Cottage – eventually making their way to the final room – an elaborate Halloween festival set in the same town as the store’s neighboring scare zone, “Sweet Revenge.” Limited-time Hotel Experience Guests can begin their terrifying journey with a limited-time experience at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort. Hotel guests can take part in the Universal Monsters Gallery of Legends. Guests will see a collection of immersive photo opportunities inspired by the terrifying trio of Universal’s classic Monsters that guests will face at the event – The Mummy, The Wolf Man and Dracula. - Magical New Experiences Coming To Walt Disney World Resort In 2023 And Beyond
The “Most Magical Place on Earth” is known for inspiring imagination and creating unforgettable memories for generations. Well, get ready because the magic at Walt Disney World Resort is flourishing with all-new attractions, the return of fan-favorites and the addition of beloved characters. Sunday at D23 Expo 2022, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro made several exciting announcements about the future of Walt Disney World Resort. Dazzling Additions to Magic Kingdom Park Ready to begin … Those words will fill the air with the popular anthem “Happily Ever After” when an updated nighttime spectacular lights up the skies at Magic Kingdom Park in 2023. That won’t be the only addition lighting up the skies at Magic Kingdom Park. Neon lights and speeding lightcycles will fill Tomorrowland as your chance to enter the grid with TRON Lightcycle / Run arrives in spring 2023. You’ll climb aboard your very own Lightcycle and race through a dark, computerized world alongside your family and friends. As you swoop and swerve throughout the course, your team will compete to be the first to race through eight Energy Gates and claim victory. Foolish mortals, prepare yourselves for a new happy haunt at the Haunted Mansion. The Hatbox Ghost has heard your calls and will materialize next year. You may recognize this popular character from the attraction at Disneyland Resort in California. Are you ready to head down the bayou? Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will take you along with Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen and their friends as they host a party at Tiana’s Place for the people of New Orleans. It’s up to you to help find the missing ingredient when this exciting new attraction opens in late 2024. The Transformation of EPCOT Continues The multi-year transformation of EPCOT will soon reach another major milestone with the completion of the World Celebration neighborhood in late 2023. With lush, green space for you to relax, plus the opening of Communicore Hall and Communicore Plaza, this central location in the park will be the new home for festivals and the perfect space to gather with family and friends. It will also be home to Dreamers Point, an inspiring new area where you can view the new Walt Disney statue called “Walt the Dreamer.” Over in World Nature – the EPCOT neighborhood dedicated to understanding and preserving the beauty, awe, and balance of the natural world – we’re excited to share that Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, will also open in late 2023. The new exploration trail will allow guests to learn about the story of water on our planet. As you may have seen through Moana’s bond with the ocean, water has a mind of its own, and you’ll get to interact with it throughout this attraction. Imagination has always been a core theme at EPCOT, with attractions and experiences that push the boundaries. There’s one key character who always comes to mind when we think about imagination, and he’s coming to life in a whole new way by the end of next year. That’s right, you’ll be able to meet Figment in person at EPCOT. As we look ahead to the future and the celebration of the Walt Disney Company’s 100thanniversary, we’re excited to share that a new nighttime spectacular is in the works for EPCOT. The new show is currently in development and will debut late next year, carrying on the park’s legacy of inspiring nighttime entertainment that unites guests around World Showcase Lagoon. There’s so much to look forward to in 2023 and beyond, you just gotta go!
