Walt Disney World Guests Will Soon Be Able To Modify Genie+ Lightning Lane Selections

Great news from Walt Disney World, as they have announced that guests will soon be able to modify Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane reservation times without canceling and rebooking.

Guests will be able to modify their attraction return window for Genie+ Lightning Lane selections, as well as being able to modify their party size, where available.

Currently, guests have to cancel their Genie+ Lightning Lane reservation and book a new reservation, as currently there is no modification feature.

The new function will allow users to search for other available Lightning Lane attractions or arrival times and swap them.

This will help reduce the number of steps it takes to change your Lightning Lane reservations.

The Disney Genie+ modification functionality will be pushed via a My Disney Experience update in the next week or so.

Disney estimates that guests who purchase Genie+ will be able to access Lightning Lane for 2-3 attractions per day.

The changes should be happening within the next few weeks.
