Influential singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Todd Rundgren is heading back out on the road, and his latest tour will be making a stop in Orlando this May.
2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Todd Rundgren, has announced that he is heading out on the open road once again with the Me/We Tour 2024. Rundgren will perform 38 shows across North America, including a show at The Plaza Live on May 24, with tickets on sale now.
The huge tour will see Rundgren perform in theaters, performing arts centers, casinos, and more. The setlist for the tour will feature Rundgren’s chart-topping hits including ‘I Saw The Light’ and ‘Hello, It’s Me’, in addition to a collection of classic Motown and R&B covers.
Embarking on his musical journey in Philadelphia with The Nazz, Rundgren rose to fame with the 1972 classic “Something/Anything?” featuring unforgettable hits like “I Saw the Light” and “Hello It’s Me.” This marked the beginning of a remarkable career defined by innovation and chart-topping success.
In 1974, Rundgren ventured into interactive musicianship with the band Todd Rungren’s Utopia, later evolving into simply Utopia in 1976. Hits like “Can We Still Be Friends” and “Bang the Drum” solidified his status as a musical luminary. His production talents graced albums by Patti Smith, Cheap Trick and other rock icons, shaping the very essence of the genre.
Celebrating over five decades in music, Rundgren continues to captivate audiences. From the Todd & Healing tour to his recent autobiography, “The Individualist,” he weaves a narrative of hits and innovation that has left an indelible mark on the industry.
