Orlando Named "Crowd Pleasing City" In The Good Housekeeping's 2023 Family Travel Awards

The Good Housekeeping Institute have launched their first ever Family Travel Awards

Travel experts, product analysts and vacation enthusiasts have joined forces to find the best products, services and destinations for every preference.

The Good Housekeeping Guide have considered all types of families and all kinds of trips, and Good Housekeeping's 2023 Family Travel Awards, have announced nearly 100 winners in a variety of categories, with Orlando being crowned most Crowd Pleasing City by the team of experts.

Experts at the Good Housekeeping Institute thoroughly reviewed hundreds of submissions before selecting the winners of the awards.

Overall, they considered attributes such as convenience, value, quality, safety, innovation and inclusion.

They also reviewed firsthand feedback from travel experts and real families for each award.

The Good Housekeeping Institute attributed Orlando's theme parks and hotels as the main draw, as well as crediting the city for its large network of LBGTQ+ tourism destinations and businesses.

It was also noted that aside from the theme parks, Orlando also offers visitors a satisfying day, with Lake Eola's Swan Boats a particular highlight, and well as Lake Lorna Doone Park, and its inclusive playground for kids of all abilities.

Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts also came in for praise, noting that it hosts Broadway touring musicals, ballets and other shows.

The Good Housekeeping's 2023 Family Travel Awards also named other Central Florida locations as winners in the first ever Good Housekeeping's 2023 Family Travel Awards.

Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, was named a Must Do Disney Trip.

Grande Lakes Orlando, Orlando, was named as Orlando's Best Upscale Orlando Accommodation.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Merritt Island, was highlighted for it's Interactive Space Ehibits.
