A real life black bear has set up home in the Magic Kingdom theme park in Walt Disney World!
Today Monday, September 18, three lands within Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World failed to open with the rest of the theme park. (The picture above shows a Black Bear in a tree in Central Florida, not the actual bear on vacation in Walt Disney World!)
Adventureland, Liberty Square, and Frontierland did not open as scheduled, remaining closed, with Cast Members sectioning off the huge section of the park from the public.
At the time no reason was given, but rumours on social media indicated that a real life bear was on the loose, with reports that the bear hd made itself comfortable in a tree located near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland.
The latest news on this event is that The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has shared that it currently has officers on the scene, which are hoping to safely capture and relocate the bear.
Also, Walt Disney World have now shared a short statement.
"We are working with The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and have made the decision to reopen Frontierland, Liberty Square and Adventureland.
As shared by the FWC, staff are on site and working on capturing and relocating the bear."
As of 1.30 pm the entire park is now open to guests.
