After a hiatus of over two years, the highly anticipated return of Fantasmic! to Disney's Hollywood Studios is happening tonight, Thursday, November 3.
Park reservation for Hollywood Studios have been fully booked sine the return date was announced, and the park is expected to be very busy today with many fans eager to see the show.
It was expected to see Fantasmic! added to Genie+ but surprisingly this has not happened as of yet.
We watched this morning as Genie+ Lightning Lane selections became available for today at 7am, but Fantasmic! was not included in the list of available options.
With no Genie+ we can expect to see lines start very early tonight as fans try to ensure they get into Hollywood Hills Amphitheater to see the show.
The Amphitheater can accommodate 6900 guests seated, with room for an additional 3,000 people standing, but we still expect at least the first show to reach capacity.
Fortunately there is two shows tonight, at 8pm and 9:30pm. and it will be interesting to see if everyone gets to see the show either at the first or second performance.
The Hollywood Hills Amphitheater did use FASTPASS before not closed, and therefor can easily accommodate Genie+ so it is rather odd that it has not been added to the show, especially as everyone knows how busy the show is going to be moving forward.
We may still see Fantasmic! join the Genie+ lineup soon, and we would consider it essential when the show is only performing one show per night.
