Groundbreaking began on downtown Orlando's Amway Center on July 25, 2008, with the $380 million arena opening on October 1, 2010, since opening the arena has been home to the Orlando Magic, but soon the Amway Center will have a new name!
Downtown Orlando's Amway Center will soon be no more, with the popular multi-purpose arena announcing a new big name sponsor next week.
Amway has held the naming rights to the arena since it opened 13 years ago, with the deal costing Amway $40 million.
Previously, before the Amway Center was built, Amway also sponsored downtown's Orlando's previous arena, the Amway Arena from 2006 until it closed in 2010.
The Amway Center is home to the Orlando Magic, Orlando Solar Bears, big-name music concerts and more,
