As we predicted earlier this week, due to the freezing cold temperatures expected for the holiday weekend in Central Florida, Walt Disney World has announced that Blizzard Beach will be closed for the busiest weekend of the year.
With morning temperatures down into the 20s and 30s, and daytime highs struggling to reach the low 50s,this weekend, its no surprise that the water park s to remain closed.
Blizzard Beach will be closed December 23 - 25, but is currently scheduled to reopen on December 26, but that is looking unlikely again due to continuing low temperatures.
