SeaWorld's Waterpark Fun

Aquatica Orlando combines the sort of up-close animal encounters that made SeaWorld Orlando famous with thrilling rides, sandy beaches and a serene lazy river for optimal water-themed entertainment. And thanks to heated water in the cooler months, it’s open for your enjoyment all year long!

Aquatica’s KareKare Curl, leads the parks lineup of unforgettable experiences, inviting you to “climb” a vertical wave wall during a high-adrenaline, weightless adventure. More fun on rafts and tubes can be found at Ray Rush, Omaka Rocka, Tassie’s Twisters, Walhalla Wave and Whanau Way. You can even grab a mat for a lightning-fast, eight-person competition at Taumata Racer!

Not that you need a conveyance to have a blast at Aquatica! Take a solo run through Ihu’s Breakaway Falls - the steepest multi-drop tower in Orlando - or race through a roaring sea of high tides at Roa’s Rapids.

And for an experience your friends back home won’t believe, travel through a school of playful, black-and-white Commerson’s dolphins from inside an enclosed, see-through tube at Dolphin Plunge.

The latter has an underwater viewing area for younger guests, who will also enjoy kid-centric attractions like Kata’s Kookaburra Cove and Walkabout Waters. And the whole family can frolic together at the Cutback Cove and Big Surf Shores wave pools.

The wave pools also have sandy beach areas that are perfect for relaxation, and Loggerhead Lane - a lazy river where you can float past exotic tropical fish and the park’s dolphin exhibit - extends the tranquility. For still more serenity, reserve a lounger or a private cabana on Aquatica’s sunny beaches.

Ready to experience Aquatica for yourself? You gotta go to Orlando soon!

Attractions & Ride Guide

Cutback Cove & Big Surf Shores

Two enormous wave pools grace this 80,000-square foot area complete with white sandy beaches and lounge chairs. Swim, play or body surf waves in either wave pool. Cutback Cove is known for the big waves with swells up to 5 feet tall, while Big Surf Shores features both small and larger waves.

Reef Plunge

Reef Plunge is an exhilarating water slide experience! Splash, twist, and turn through over 330 feet of eye-catching translucent cutouts and rings. Zoom past a dynamic underwater habitat that’s home to a vibrant array of marine life, including Commerson’s dolphins, leopard sharks, sardines, and other cold-water fish.

Ihu’s Breakaway Falls

Named after Aquatica’s colorful gecko mascot, this free-fall, multi-drop ride is bound to thrill its passengers. In fact, it’s the tallest and steepest multi-drop ride in Orlando.

KareKare Curl

Added in 2019, this brand-new, two-person ride invites you to climb a vertical wave wall and experience the feeling of weightlessness.

Kata’s Kookaburra Cove

A little bird with a loud shriek serves as the namesake for this kid-centric play area. Little ones will have a blast exploring whimsical water rides, being squirted by waterspouts and zooming down a water slide.

Omaka Rocka

Glide down a high-tech water flume on an inner tube raft as you wind through intricate funnels. Prepare to be propelled high upon one side of a funnel only to slide down the other side of another.

Ray Rush

Slide, splash and soar in this fully loaded water adventure, which debuted at Aquatica in 2018. Fill your raft with family and friends as you’re blasted by water jets, spin inside a colossal water sphere and dive into giant manta wings.

Roa’s Rapids

Jump aboard an action-packed river ride catapulting you through high tides, whirling waters and swelling geysers. Hold on tight: It’s high-speed, white-water excitement with a series of crashing waves.

Tassie’s Twisters

Start off at Loggerhead Lane and slowly ascend the island tower. You’re not safe for long, as you’ll plummet down fast tubes that send you spiraling into an enormous giant bowl. Ultimately, guests will spin back into a soothing lazy river.

Taumata Racer

Join an epic, high-speed competition between eight racers as you soar head-first down steep hills on mats. Check out the competition as you near the bottom and see who splashes into the pool first.

Walhalla Wave

Jet through a 6-story maze on a spinning circular raft. Glide through ominous dark tunnels, take surprising twists and turns, and splash into a shallow pool of water.

Walkabout Waters

A 60-foot fortress serves as a beacon of South Seas fun, calling everyone to this 15,000-square-foot walkabout and play area for all ages. Slide, climb and wade in refreshing shallow waters.

Whanau Way

Climb a quadruple slide tower where you’ll get to choose from four unique high-speed water slides. Cruise down slides with a friend on a double inner tube for fast fun.

Aquatica Animals

Aquatica water park is inspired by the exotic South Seas and the creatures that live there. Some of the animals will be wandering the park with their handlers, and you’ll see others, like the Commerson's dolphins and tropical fish, while you're on the rides
